Which Indian movie should be India's official entry for the nomination of the Oscars?

I say Omkara. It was pretty dark. Do I have any other comments??? No.

my choice is Rang De basanti. it really deserves nomination for Osacr😃.

KANK! 😆 😆 😆 -I just read somewhere that Kank is a Kalank! IMHO, RDB is the only qualifier so far for 2006. Are there any other good regional movies this year? I know Malyalam etc. movies are good too.

Rang De Basanti - Possibility, heard already gone for Golden Globe
Omkara - Too dark, thank god knew about "Othello" before
LRMB - Not seen
Krissh - Concept so much like hollywood movies. Also a child compared to foreign catagory oscar winner "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon"
Gangster - So-so story, not much chance
Fanaa - Too lenghthy, 'Lagan" was lengthy too but there was excitement
KANK - bahut rona-dhona, at times it tasted half-baked
15 Park Avenue- anti-climax

I would go for "Rang De Basanti".

Why are we running behind the oscars??? why do we think the west is perfect in all respect? and why do we need to benchmark all our creations based on western world's tastes???

we knew about cosmetic surgeries and interstellar distances, when the ppl in the west were still living in the caves!
