A Hip-Hop artiste and supporter of anti-quota with music in his blood, Dr. Ricky Kej decided to give this movement a boost and support by creating a ring-tone for mobile phones, which is India's First Protest Ringtone. Called the 'Pro Rx song', it is available free from the artiste's website www.prxonline.com. and is also available via sms-es.

Shemaroo launches audio of Punjabi film Mannat
Shemaroo Audio has released the audio cassettes and CDs of the Punjabi film Mannat. Shemaroo also owns the international audio and video rights for this film.
A BAG Films production, Mannat stars Jimmy Sheirgill. Kulraj Randhawa (of Kareena Kareena fame) will make her film debut. Directed by Gurbir S Grewal, it also stars Kanwaljit Singh and Deep Dhillon.
The six songs have been composed by Jaidev Kumar, with Shafqat Ali Khan, Alka Yagnik, Babu Singh Mann and Arvinder Singh among the singers. The audio CDs are priced at Rs. 99/- and cassettes at Rs. 55/-. Shemaroo has tied up with major telecom operators like Reliance Mobile, Airtel and Hutch for providing mobile content of the movie like ring-tones, wallpapers and videos to their subscribers.
