Siddhartha wins over the demonly alter-ego; conquers lust, fulfillment and regret in Zee TV's Buddha

😛

B.K. Modi's Buddha - Rajaon Ka Raja on Zee TV has been traversing the path of Siddhartha's (Himanshu Soni) transformation into Buddha. And in this week's episode, Siddhartha will fight a major battle with his alter ego, thus conquering lust, fulfillment and regret.

Siddhartha who has chosen a life of austerity will decide to not take even water. And this will alarm his companions, who will wish that he should soon find his right path. While walking on a river bank, Siddhartha will collapse owing to weakness and this will be when Sujata, played by Piyali Munshi will come to help him.

A source states, "Sujata will feed him a morsel of kheer, and soon after consuming it, Siddhartha will feel a bit energetic and will slowly regain consciousness.

Sujata will go on to impart the very important knowledge of staying fit by having food. She will tell him that if his stomach would be empty, his mind will not be able to seek the answers he wants. Siddhartha will then decide to get better in health and also to use meditation to nourish his body and mind."

This week's episode will see the major highpoint of Siddhartha walking deeper into the forest and choosing a banyan tree to sit under it for meditation in the hope of finding a new light which will help him solve the problems of humanity.

However, Siddhartha will face many hurdles while meditating under the pipal tree.

Our source adds, "While meditating, a large poisonous snake will appear and move past Siddhartha. However, Siddhartha will choose to meditate, ignoring any movement around him. The dangerous snake will hiss past Siddhartha's body and will go back from where it came."

Also, Siddhartha will have to overcome the frightening demon Mara (the demon inside a person), who would be against enlightenment. In order to prevent Siddhartha from becoming enlightened, Mara will send his three beautiful daughters named lust, fulfillment and regret. The three women will try their best to distract Siddhartha. They will sway around him, touch him all over, and will also talk to him about what they can do with him in his ears. Siddhartha however, will choose to meditate, thus ignoring the three negative energies. He will eventually succeed in shattering his alter ego and Siddhartha will open his eyes after conquering the three worldly desires. However, Mara in a fit of rage will promise to come back before vanishing in the dark.

Has Siddhartha attained the first level of enlightenment?
