It was an unexpected but another important issue taken up by the SJ team. With limited amount of natural resources it becomes even more important to manage waste in current times. I have seen a couple of cities where municipal committee started this process of getting waste separated but due to lack of interest by people it just faded away. But that is a very less percentage for example. It is again the people who will have to rise and take the responsibility because it is to separate small amount of waste at homes than to separate large amount of waste at waste management issues. Also there is lack of awareness among people regarding this issue. People have to broaden their thinking and mindset.
