The girls are thinking of a solution, Jo gets the idea of revealing a mistake Mrs Sikka made to stop the boys from leaving, Urvashi and the girls find out about Mrs Sikka's schedule, they also spy on her and search her house. Mrs Sikka is coming home at that time, Mrs Sikka enters her house and the girls escape tactfully, they call Mrs Sikka and blackmail her as someone else.
The boys have finished packing and are ready to go when Mrs Sikka comes and stops them from leaving and tells them they cant leave, the girls come and Mrs Sikka leaves, Jo gets a call and she leaves Maddy is curious on who it is, the girls tell the boys its because of them they can stay, the boys thank them and go back inside, Maddy check on Jo, Jo is upset and shouting at who she is talking to, she turns around to see Maddy, he asks her if she's ok, Jo tells him that it was her dad and Nikki and Urvashi come and tease them, Jo and Maddy change the topic and thanks them and leaves.
At night, Jo is drinking and Maddy who is setting up a canvas sees her and goes up to her and they talk, Nikki and Bappa get together for Nikki's marriage thing, and they have a moment, Maddy and Jo talk about their dad's, Jo tells him that her dad left her and her mum in a vulnerable state, Jo doesn't want anyone's sympathy Maddy consoles her indirectly.
Jo offers Maddy a drink, and drinks the rest of the bottle, Maddy tells his own story of his parent's, they both feel better when they talk to each other.
