You've beautifully described her journey. The emotions and her pain, all came out so well. One feels sad for her. Despite so much happening over the years, she's standing right where it all started from.

Anu - what can I say - this has all the trademarks of your writing and yet it is different. It evokes such pathos for Laila and such identifiable reactions of rage towards the woman who took away the man who had been the only sparkle in her life..
