Mo Chuisle
Dusk had already fallen when he finally reached home. He was never in a hurry to be home, as one would imagine for a lonely man like himself. He pressed the key into the padlock and flung it out of the door. There was a rusted lantern hung on the door that he grabbed on his way in. Dropping the items in his hand on the table he proceeded to light the lantern. The dark room was suddenly illuminated by the dimming flame. He removed his revolver from his holster and placed it on the table as well.
The sound of anklets pulled him out of hard sleep. Opening up his eyes and seeing her standing over his bed seemed like a dream until she finally spoke.
He immediately sat up causing her to jump back in anticipation.
"Laila, What are you doing here at this time?" he objected coldly.
However, without much regard she settled on the bedstead next to him, resting her head on his shoulder.
"Why won't you just leave me alone?" he yelled.
Boiling with anger she pulled him by the arm.
"Why don't you just forget her?"
"Get out Laila"
"I only came here to tell you that your Parvati is getting married..." she broke the news to him without hesitation and intended to say more but Rudra grabbed her neck pinning her to the wall.
"Let me go Rudra" she pleaded as her throat constricted under his grip.
He released her at once and sprinted out the door.
