The Vivekanand Education Society (VES), Chembur, participated in the Clean & Clear Bombay Times Fresh Face 2013 contest for the first time, but the college managed to impress with its talent.

There were quite a few singers, dancers, actors, orators, mimickry artistes, stand-up comedians, drawing and sketching artists and painters as well. Shankar Mahadevan's Breathless was popular among the singers as well as the dancers. When the winner among girls - smartly turned out Shivani Yadav - was given the choice of being beautiful and not so smart, or brilliant and not so beautiful, she chose the latter as she felt that it would benefit her in her life in the long run. Rahul Panicker, the winner among boys, proved his passion for dance as he didn't want to trade it for anything else even if it was more lucrative.

On seeing a number of tall female contestants, celebrity judge and actor-model Anuj Sachdeva remembered his own experience of working with Deepika Padukone (who stands at around 5'9" tall) in an ad campaign. "I requested her to remove her heels during the shoot," he said, leading the crowd to break into laughter. Prabhjyot Singh Gill and Laxmi Ashok Asrani were declared the first runners-up while Hiren Manshukhani and Palak Luthera bagged the second runners-up titles.
