Introduction

Two people have known each other in their childhood. They were never good friends. Just knew each other. Their parents are good friends with each other and want their children to get married to each other. Yes guys, you guessed right. The two people I am talking about is Rey and Taani, our TaaRey!!! It has been 10 years since they met. Rey's family decides to meet Taani and her family on her 22^nd birthday, and engage her to Rey. But both are adamant on breaking this engagement because they don't know each other well and both of them are very much different from each other. They initially hate each other and play pranks on each other but it takes some time to realize that it is not "hate", but hiding their love.

Character Sketch:

Reyaansh Singhania - Kunwar Amarjeet Singh

The Casanova. He can make any girl fall for him with his killer smile and attitude. He doesn't believe in arranged marriage. He believes his love will be totally like him in character (he is totally wrong). He is reluctant to even meet Taani as he thinks she is much different from him and rejects her without even seeing her. But his curiosity gets better of him and he goes to meet her in her hometown, Ratnagiri (Gujarat).

Taani Desai - Vrinda Dawda

The Angel. She can make any guy fall in love with her with the blink of her eyes. She has a firm belief about marriages, whether love or arranged. She believes that if there is something called love in her life, then it has to find her itself, she'll not go looking for it. She is angry with Rey because he rejected her without even seeing her. She decides that Rey doesn't have the right to look at her when he comes there and tries to hide her face from him as much as possible.

Swayam Shekhawat - Shantanu Maheshwari

Taani's best friend ever since childhood. Has always stayed by her side in every situation. Equally angry with Rey for rejecting Taani without knowing her. A major part in bringing TaaRey together. Falls in love with Sharon, Rey's bestie.

Sharon Gupta - Sneha kapoor/Vrushika Mehta

Rey's bestie since childhood. Supports Rey in his decisions. Doesn't approve Rey's decision of rejecting Taani without knowing her properly. Accompanies him to Ratnagiri to meet Taani. Helps Swayam in bringing TaaRey together. Falls for Swayam.

Kumud Desai - Jennifer Winget

Taani's protective elder sister. Will do anything for Taani's happiness. The only person who feels that Rey has some other reason for rejecting Taani. Engaged to Armaan Mallik, her childhood friend.

Armaan Mallik - Karan Singh Grover

Loves Taani very much as a sister. Rey's friend, almost like a brother. Convinces Rey to meet Taani. Engaged to Kumud, Taani's sister.
