Hrithik to resume Bang Bang's shooting from 25th Jan in Manali with Hollywood stunt director Andy Armstrong
When Hrithik Roshan injured himself on the sets of Bang Bang in May last year, the stunt
was performed without the supervision of an action director as Hollywood Conrad E
Palmisano of Lethal Weapon and Rush Hour fame, had already bowed out of the project.
The allegedly mistimed dive caused the formation of a clot which then led to the actor's
emergency brain surgery which delayed the film by a good seven months.
The makers of the film are being doubly cautious as they prepare to start shooting again
on January 25.
Now another Hollywood import, Andy Armstrong whose resume includes films like The
Amazing Spider-Man and the Mission: Impossible franchise, will take charge.
Said a source close to the development: "Bang Bang has a lot of action scenes and Hrithik
needs to be in safe hands. He starts shooting again in Manali in the next few weeks. He is
yet to meet Andy and the two plan to meet and discuss the stunts with director Siddharth
Anand before shooting starts."
