Channel V's show Paanch - 5 wrongs make a right, aims at correcting the wrongs

Paanch - 5 wrongs make a right, a new show on Channel V will focus on rectifying the wrong things...

After establishing itself as the country's number one youth General Entertainment Channel (GEC), Channel V is all set to get a refreshed identity- a new logo to go with its new tagline- 'V Correct Hai', underlying the inherent brand thought, "what feels so right, can't be wrong".

This brand refresh will also see the launch of four exciting new shows that embody this thought, as the Channel continues its focus on the youth of the country.

One of the shows, Paanch - 5 wrongs make a right', sets out to live up to the channel's new motto 'V Correct Hai' by correcting some of the wrongs of the society. The show revolves around 19-year old Roshni who enters a college in Mumbai to 'right some wrongs'. To avenge a deep wound from the past - the "accidental death" of her sister - she transforms herself into someone she isn't: unforgiving and brutal.

There's a growing resentment among girls in the country about the brutality of crimes on them and the toothless nature of the law to defend them. Paanch - 5 wrongs make a right', tries to address that as Roshni spells out her quest: "I chose revenge because the system did not give me justice!"

This drama-thriller from Channel V will also have a romantic angle as Roshni would fall for one of the boys in college called Gauti. The show will have half-an-hour episodes and will be a bi-weekly offering. Tune in time - Wednesday & Thursday 6PM

Says Prem Kamath, GM and Channel V Head: "Through the story of this one girl seeking revenge for her sister, Paanch - 5 wrongs make a right, aims to show the wrongs in our society and correct them. This cleansing should start with our youth and this is what the refreshed Channel V is all about."

Young and talented Shrey Pareek talks about his new show... Paanch-Don't Get Mad, Get Even

Meet the tall and good looking Shrey Pareek who is all set to impress the viewers with his role in Channel V's new offering Paanch-Don't Get Mad, Get Even (Sunshine Productions).

The show that boasts of a talented ensemble will have a young girl Roshni battling out a fight against her five seniors with whom she has a past connection. Shrey will be playing Nihaal, one of the five seniors.

We hunt the young guy to know more about his role and the show. The actor who was last seen in a cameo in Suvreen Guggal on the same channel speaks about his character, "I play a young photographer who has a very casual attitude about life and also is very patient. He is quite different from his friends and is a very interesting character."

When we prodded him more about the show, he smiles, "Paanch is a thriller and I would not like to spoil the fun by giving you much details. But I can assure that it is a very interesting and exciting show that will keep you hooked till the end."

The actor who seems quite confident about the show also shares, "I know people always want to start their career as leads, but then the concept was so brilliant that it would be stupidity to say no to it. Also since it's a finite series of 52 episodes we know well how and where our characters will shape up. This is the new generation of shows and it's a very positive change in the TV industry."

The young guy who feels lucky to be a part of a young team is really excited about his new show. And well Shrey even we are!!!!

******  would like to wish the show good luck.
