Every word in this post is extremely logical & sensible! You have nothing to be worried about!Like you said...TBP has been straying majorly from its original track, as in the beginning of Season 2. KiSha ka toh...I don't even know what to say. They are my biggest love on the show, & in all honesty, ever since the Buddies patched up the FIRST time, after the farewell incident, last season, they have had no really good solid track of their own. Yes...there have been some good moments, & short 2-3 day tracks, like their stint during elections...& their brief differences in opinions, but unfortunately, they always end in a nice, big "jadoo ki jhappi" in two days, & the same cycle repeats π³Buddies toh at one point had become almost non existent, but thankfully, CVs pulled up their socks & rectified that to some extent. I do miss the magical non canon sequences though <3The BIGGEST mistake however is the sidelining of Jaitley. The Buddies may be the heart of the show...but Jaitley is the backbone. The show is about the journey taken undertaken by the Buddies together, since the first time they get together in school, & JJ is an integral part of this journey...their mentor. Without him, & the JJ/Buddies centric track...something always feels missing. The show CANNOT thrive on KiSha's constant repetitive push & pull, Piddi's equally repetitive shenangians & Rukmini/RaHi's repetitive sequences :|Basically...the show needs as a whole in my opinion needs fixing from every direction. As far as the new writers are concerned...I am afraid that I cannot claim to have been very impressed by the recent months. Except the election track of course, which was truly EXCEPTIONAL.I am EXTREMELY glad that Anand Sir is back. With him...I have high hopes that the show's air of unconventionality & uniqueness will be back. A necessity, esp at this point, wherein Channel V is rolling out promising new shows, D3 fans have gained a new high & CV team & TBP has been pushed back into an extremely inconvenient time slot π³. I really really hope that TBP can pull up in this crucial stage. I love it too much to watch it crumble
Mera Avi Kuch bhi ho...I can never forgive CVs for THAT ghapla!!!! Pure character ki chopsey kar di. Good...I remember that scene, where RanSh told JeeMi that they didn't want to fight & so were backing out of JJ'c competition, & JeeMi were trying to manipulate them into going. My...they both had such excellet grey shades to be explored. And Avi had SO MANY layers, which Manish would have pulled off with utmost perfection!Originally posted by: spicySugar..
they didn't use JeeMi to their full potential!! Goodness! My precious JeeMiChi triangle!! π yaar Shazzy! What a effin' amazing track that was!! Aur kya kabara hogaya! they made me hate Avi!! I always wanted to see failed relationships being shown on TBP but ViChi was effin' MURDERED!!!
And Omi, the toffee guy, is gayab!
Avantika turned into meh so meh...
Rukmini tou..could've been so much better..
So forget the girls...I need Omi and Avi back! c'mon! that is still not a lost track! I hope Anand Sir brings them back to their full potential..these guys are GOOD! I don't need their romantic angles or whatever! Just GAWD! College politics! Two groups! the fights and the intensity! This still hurts me ke what started SO WELL in the first epi of S2...became a kabara!
Exactly yaar!!!!! What was the freaking point? There were a 100 ways to show ViChi break up without compromising Avi, & Omi toh...god only knows where he is! All that potential...wasted.Originally posted by: spicySugar..
now I will cry!! so much could've been done to them!! avi ko kameena jerk bana diya! omi ko gayab! the biggest ghapla by the CVs! seriously!!! wish we could rewrite their track in the show...the characters were too darn precious to be wasted like this..
JeeMiChi triangle I wasn't that hung up on...but I really liked MiChi π³ And I LOVED JEEMI!!!! Ugh...Originally posted by: spicySugar..
while I am happy ViChi was ended to make way for RaHi but the JeeMiChi triangle was something I hadn't had enough of. I sooo wanted a more push and pull fight with these guys and that being the ultimate reason for the break up cuz Panchi isn't the kind to enjoy such political atmosphere in any of her relationship..
JeeMi were...so good. so so sooo good! and now they are history...the kind you remember with fondness and then be sad at their distressing end..
