Before I start, this post is NOT targeted at any individual member here.
There have been some issues that have been brought up lately and this
post has been made addressing the same.
Multiple ID's (MID): If you think a member is using a MID then contact the section Dev Team. There is no need to accuse someone based on assumption. What we think might not always be true and accusing someone based on an assumption is wrong. If you have any proof and evidence with regards to the same you can get in touch with the Dev Team. They will look into the matter and do the needful. Any post accusing member of being MID member will get a direct WL raise.
We kindly request members to refrain from creating MID's purposely to cause chaos and fights between the members. If anyone is seen to engage in such activities, the original ID will get a warning level raise and MID's will be banned without further question.
Personal Attack/Abusive Posts: Making any personal attacks or derogatory names calling against members/contestants is NOT acceptable. Please avoid making posts that are abusive, derogatory, sarcastic and insulting enough to affect the sentiment of another member. Members have difference of opinion no doubt but you can't expect all the fingers of one hand to be the same do you? India Forums is a platform to allow everyone to express their opinions freely within the COC and respectable limitations. Please know the difference between bashing and criticism. Things can be said in a more civilized manner rather than being brutal. Having said that, dislike, criticism, disagreement or contradiction is not considered bashing and everyone is welcome to express their opinions within the Bollywood forum rules and IF COC.
Also, please refrain from passing comments against a particular fangroup; comments such as "Oh fans of XYZ contestant/actor are always bashing ABC, and they expect us to sit and listen" are NOT allowed. Such comments do nothing except create animosity between the members and disrupt the atmosphere of the forum. If you do feel that certain members are acting in an unruly manner, please feel free to present your POV via PMs to the DT, and let the DT intervene and take the needed action.
Moral Policing: We would prefer members to stop preaching on the forum. Let the moderators decide what is needed on this forum and what is not or what one member is allowed to do or not. There is no need for to tell members what to do because the forum has an active DT who WILL take action if it is deemed necessary. You cannot stop someone from posting in any topic. Do not become a moral police on the forum.
Counter Posting: Refrain from making counter posts on the forum. If you see a post which you feel you do not agree with or believe to be insulting/instigatory or abusive, then DO NOT create another topic in retaliation to counter argue the post maker. This only leads to further unrests and more arguments breaking out in the forum. If you come across any posts which you believe are not in accordance with the Bigg Boss Forum Rules or IF COC, just REPORT and let the moderators of the section handle the situation.
Sharing Personal Information: This has been brought up time and time again. Do not share your personal information with others on the net. If you are sharing any information with an unknown person you are doing that at your own risk. The conversation that takes place in private messages, face book, messenger between two people is between them and not to be shared in the open forum.
Report Button/Response Time: Abusive topics are not allowed nor do we appreciate members taking law in their hands and jump in the topics with their weapons using the same tone as the poster. That will make no difference between you and the poster. If anyone sees any comment/thread which is offending posted by someone, you will NOT take law into your own hands to teach a lesson. That aggravates matters more and you also become liable for action for reacting thus. Instead you will simply make use of the "REPORT" button and report the thread by stating the reason clearly.
Please keep in mind moderators are also members. We would also like time to make our own posts. We also have our own lives and cannot be here 24/7. Please allow a reasonable time frame of at least 24 hours before escalating the issue and PMing a moderator. We try to address reports as soon as we can. Please avoid PMing the Moderators unless the issue has been neglected for way too long or it is an extremely pressing matter.
If a member sends one PM then wait for 24 hrs then for the Moderators to come online and reply to your queries/concerns. Don't go around spamming the inbox of with mass PMs. Instead of mass PMing it would appreciated if one person PM's the concern DT with regards to the issue. Having said that, members can PM only on his/her behalf to DT and not on another member's behalf. Third party PM to DT are NOT Allowed.
Issues pertaining the Development Team: The DT is not allowed to disclose how do we deal with issues/problematic posts/offending members etc due to confidentiality issues, so please do not make judgements based on your own perception of what is happening, as there may be another side to the coin as well. When a topic is closed, understand that we don't just consider the opening post by the TM, but we go through the ENTIRE post, read through the replies before taking a decision of how to deal with an issue.
If you have any issue with the way an issue has been handled, try and resolve it via PMs instead of commenting on the thread and/or opening new threads. If you still feel unsatisfied with the explanation offered to you, you are free to escalate the issue by taking it up to the CMs/GMs. Also, once a DT member has posted a note in a thread regarding rule breaking, please refrain from repeating the same offense and/or dragging the issue into another thread.
Reporting and Addressing Issues: Not everyone on the Development Team has moderating powers. Coolbies and Videobies do NOT fall under the category of moderation as they only provide timely updates to the forum. The moderation chain is as follows: Viewbies > Moderators > Channel Moderators > Global Moderators.
Your first point of contact would be the section Viewbie or Moderator as they take care of the day to day happenings in the forum. If you have any issues regarding moderation, you can escalate them to the Channel Moderators/Global Moderators, but any other issues need to be brought to the Section Development Team [Viewbies and Moderators] first. If you feel that the response by the Section DT is unsatisfactory, please address the issue through PMs to the respective DT member or to the CM/GM, but please don't argue on the post/open new posts and disrupt the atmosphere of the forum.

We hope all members would adhere to the above guidelines along with Bigg Boss Saath 7 Guidelines and Rules and India-Forums.com- Participation Guidelines & Rules and make sure to keep the atmosphere of the section friendly. If anyone is found not following the rules and creating unrest in the section strict action will be taken against the member. With the increase of warning meters even ban can be an option taken by the Dev Team. No reminders/warnings PM will be send out.
