TOI : Vishesh Bansal bags Buddha!
The role of young Siddhartha would be played by none other than Vishesh Bansal. Vishesh was last seen in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? and had also acted in Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kahan as young Addu but later on he eventually got replaced by Shivansh Kotian.
Nevertheless, it seems that Shivansh had something better in his kitty as today he has been zeroed to play the younger version of king Siddhartha (Buddha).
When contacted, Vishesh Bansal's mother confirmed, "Yes, Vishesh will play childhood of Buddha."
