Exactly my point. I mean, he gives no indication that he's has plans to tell Tara about Mrityunjay any sooner. 🤔 I think we got to wait for the wedding to see what's his plan about.

and he does not bother about the fact that how much would it hurt Tara and her family , what a shame it would be for them 
of course one can clearly see his selfishness and concern towards his son 
since for god knows what reason he is going against all his family member and marrying the girl to his imprisoned son

I dont think this character is fully negative but in the twilight region.he have his own reason about what he is doing.i think this character have grey shade.
