arjun heard the chirpy voice near him and looked at the person. dressed in yellow patiala suit, a girl was asking him. he moved away from her seat and sat another seat opposite hers. the girl was busy keeping her luggage on the upper berth, and arjun was looking outside window.
the train started to move. the girl came from washroom, now changed into patiala pant with a white tshirt. she sat opposite of his seat, and smiled her dimple smile.
''aap kahan jaa rahe hain?'' she asked in her chirpy tone. arjun was like, ''huh?''
''sunne mein kya takleef hoti hain apko?'' the girl's voice was genuinely concerned. arjun was little annoyed now. before the girl ask anymore, the ticket checker came to check tickets.
''mere paas to ticket nahi hain...'' he mumbled to the TT. the TT started to write in some papers, '' kahan tak jana hain apko?''
''ye train kahan tak ja rahi hain?''
as the TT was looking at him like he has grown two heads, the girl jumped in between, turned to TT, ''delhi tak jana hain inko.''
the TT write something to the papers, and arjun took out his wallet to give money. the girl was continuing her blabbering.
''woh kya hain na, last minute mein plan bana , aur ticket kharidne ka time bhi nahi mila. aap bana dijiye delhi tak ka ticket...woh kya hain na, bura waqt chal raha hain bechare ka, iss liye aise...''
the TT nodded to her all words and gave arjun ticket. arjun absent mindedly keep it in his pocket and about to say thank you to the girl, she started to bomberd him with questions.
''bade kamal ke ho yaar! train kahan tak jaa rahi hain pata nahi, ticket nahi hain. kahin drugs liya hain kya?''
''KYA ???"
''arre bata do yaar! mere sare dost mujhse sab kuch share karte hain, tum bhi kar sakte ho.'' she hugged her knees and look at him with excitement. arjun was much annoyed at her.
''dekho, main aisa ladka nahi hoon.''
''ooh...to koi tragedy rahi hogi! koi off ho gaye kya ghar mein? ya business mein loss hua? ya GF chod ke chali gayi?''
she noticed arjun's face fell at her last words. she smiled wider, ''ooh, to GF ka chakkar hain? ye pyar na hota hi ajeeb hain! par thank god mere saath aisa kuch nahi hua, aur hoga bhi nahi! mera wala mujhse bohot pyar karta hain...naam hain angshuman. ghar mein bata doongi, agar man gaye to thik, warna bhaag jaoongi ghar se. so exciting na?''
she continued to blabber, and arjun wanted to ran away screaming. oh god, how can someone talk rubbish and continuously at the same time?

''tum pagal ho kya?'' arjun yelled at her on top of his voice, and the girl glared at him with equal anger.
arjun got down from train at ratlam station, and started to walk toward the outside, himself unknown where he is going. the girl also got down behind him, as train was leaving station and he still did not get inside. when arjun didnt want to go, she started to run behind it, but missed it.
''main tumhare wajeh se train miss kar di, aur tum mujhe attitude jhar rahe ho? bhalai ka to zamana hi nahi raha. main iss bekar se station ratlam ke platform no. 3 mein khadi hoon raat ke 2 baje, aur maine train miss kar di! main ab karoon kya?'' she looked around , for divine intervention maybe!
arjun stared at her face for 2 seconds, then started to run toward outside. the girl was stunned, then she recovered and started to run behind him, shouting on top her voice, ''bhaag raha hain! chor chor!''
the guard woke up at the commotion and about to block arjun, but he was too fast for him. as the girl ran passed her, she hissed, ''kisi kaam ke nahi ho.''
arjun stopped as he reached outside the station, and looked a taxi was standing in front of him. he saw the girl was coming toward her. she stopped in front of him and opened her mouth to speak, but he cut her, ''taxi mein baitho.''
they both sat inside the taxi, and waited impatiently as the taxi driver was finishing his puja. she said hurriedly, ''arre ho gaya bhai sahab, ab chalooo.''
''kahan jana hain apko?'' asked the guard in calm voice, just opposite of them both's mentality. arjun said hurriedly, ''next station kitni doori pe hain?''
''100 kilometre.'' the driver showed the agarbatti to the hanuman god. arjun looked at him like "really?'' , the girl mirroring his look.
''jaldi chalo, mujhe train pakadni hain.'' again said the girl.
''jaldi kar ke kya hoga behen jee? 100 km jate jate bohot der hogi... train nahi pakad payengi aap. zindagi mein jaldbazi mein hi galtiya ho jati hain...''
as the man continued his bhasan over zindagi and jaldbazi, the girl was about to strangle him, while arjun got out of the taxi and opened the drivers seat, ''bahar niklo.''
''huh?''
''niklo bahar.'' he said in dont-mess-with-me way, and the taxi driver came out. he sat on passenger seat, and arjun sat in drivers seat. then he started the taxi in full speed.
''kya kar rahe ho bhai sahab? slow slow...'' the man cried. arjun didnt pay any heed, and the girl was surprised at his driving skills.
''ye koi mamuli insan nahi hain! agar taxi ko kuch hua to ye paisa dega. aur disturb mat karo, accident ho jayega.'' the girl shut drivers mouth, and arjun concentrate harder on driving.
after some 1 hour, they reach next station. they both find the train waiting in platform. the girl sighed, ''thank you baba jee, bacha liya!''
''ab train miss mat karna.'' arjun ordered her. she rolled her eyes and bought a bottle of water for her. arjun walked away from station.

this just cant happen with me! arjun thought to himself as the girl came running behind him and hugged him tight. he was about to think , when he saw some guy was looking at him in weird way.
''tumne fir train miss kar di? aur ye namuna kaun hain?'' he said irritatedly when the girl broke the hug.
''by the way, i am riya.'' she took out her hand for hand shake, and arjun shook it, looking around irritatingly, ''arjun.''
''arjun? wow, itni pleased to main kabhi kisi se mil ke nahi huyi! maine 2 -2 baar train miss kar di, ek adventure face kiya. kya kismat hain meri. pehle to tumhe pata nahi ke train kahan ja rahi hain, then u drove like maniac to reach station...just wow! aur ab, in andheri galiyon mein chale ja rahe ho...koi pagal ho kya?'' she said sarcasticly. arjun glared at her.
''tumse matlab? aur tum kar kya rahi ho yahan?''
''mujhe bhi koi shauk nahi tumhare peeche ane ka. iss anjan sheher mein main akeli ladki karoon kya? mere paas paise nahi, par tumhare paas hain. koi hotel mein chalte hain, spend the night, then will go to mirganj station. mera saman wahin pe hoga...then all the way to bhatinda.'' she said excitedly, and arjun rolled his eyes. she started to walk, then turned to him, ''ab chalooo.''
as they both started to walk in dark alley, arjun was now cent percent sure that this girl has some serious mental problem! she was so carefree...singing ''gumnaam hain koi...badnaam hain koi...'' in this situation, asked him if he is bachhan sir's fan, immitating the lines, ''aj khush to bohot hoge tum,haaih?''
''bohot maza araha hain na tumhe? picnic pe aye hain hum?'' he asked sarcastic. she rolled her eyes, and then her face lighten up. ''woh raha hotel.''
she started to run toward the hotel, and arjun followed her, scanning the hotel. it looked like a cheap one, but he was getting some negative vibes. hotel decent.
''kitne kamre chahiye apko?'' asked the manager. arjun took out his wallet, and answered, ''2.''
'' do hi chahiye?'' asked the manager in wicked way. arjun glared at him, ''bakwas band karo apni.''
riya jumped in between again, ''2 kyu chahiye? bhaiyya, ek kamra chaiye.''
''room charges ghante ke hisab se doge?''
''dekho tum...'' arjun about to murder the guy, when riya cut him, ''haan, humein room thode hi na pure din ke liye chahiye hoga...kuch hi ghanto ka mamla hain. iss mein sharmane ki kya baat hain?''
''dekho riya tum samajh nahi rahi ho...''
''tum nahi samajh rahe ho, paise kam hain humare paas.'' she hissed at him. arjun gave up, and turned to manager. as riya was checking out the hotel with her eyes, the manager whispered to arjun, ''kahan se mili?''
''train se.''
''acha? wah...solid item hain.'' the man was impressed.
they both reached inside hotel room. riya eyed arjun cautiously.
''what?''
''tum aur woh manager kya batein kar rahe the?'' she asked. arjun shook his head and sat on the chair, ''tumhe pata hain tum single piece ho? museum mein rakhna chahiye tumhe.''
''acha? aur tumhe kahan rakhna chahiye? khud ka koi ata pata nahi mujhse keh rahe ho.'' she glared at him. he rolled his eyes.
''ho sakta hain main pagal hoon, par mujhe karate ata hain.'' she said in a threatening way.
''to?''
''to agar tum kuch karne ka socho...''
''oooh...'' arjun smiled little as he understood what she meant, ''to agar main tumpe rape attempt karoon to tum mujhe karate karogi?''
''haan.''
''dont worry, main aisa kuch nahi karoonga.''
''tum kar bhi nahi sakte.''
''main karna hi nahi chahta.''
''chahon bhi to nahi kar sakte.''
''kya tum mujhe chaabi laga rahi ho ki main tumpe rape attempt karoon?''
''nahi, main bas keh rahi hoon. par lagte nahi tum aisa kuch karoge. ache khandan se ho. par tumhare age peeche ghumti hogi uss type ki girls...attention seeker! par main keh deti hoon main waisi nahi hoon. one man woman hoon.'' she said proudly.
arjun was furious now, ''for ur kind information i am also one woman man, ye dekho...'' he took out his wallet and showed her the pic of his GF. she jumped and snatched the wallet.
''wow yaar, kitni soni hain. lucky u.''
''no i am not...'' he said sadly. riya caught his tone, ''kya hua?''
arjun didnt answer. riya rolled her eyes, ''uff, the famous silence! aisa kya secret hain tumhara?'' she took out the pic then eyed it curiously.
''so did she dump u?''
arjun didnt answer. riya sighed then suddenly she was full of energy. she thrashed the pic in his hand, and said, '' go in toilet, burn her pic and flush her out of ur life.''
''are u mad?'' arjun was shocked.
''arre jala do saali ko yaar! she ditched u, so u flush her out of ur life...come on gooo.'' she pushed him toward washroom.
after some 2 minute, arjun came out of washroom. he sat on the chair, and said, ''u know, ye stupid idea ko follow kar ke i actually felt better.''
she flashed her dimple smile, ''waise tumhe usse bhi achhi mil sakti hain...handsome ho yaar. agar meri life mein angshuman nahi hota to main bhi shayad tumhe pasand karti! just imagine!''
he smiled genuinely at the mad woman in front of him.
''u love urself too much, right?''
''yes, main khud ki favorite hoon!'' she hugged herslf. then she remembered something, and jumped from the bed, ''main tumhe kasi lagti hoon?''
''huh?''
