Steam cook the bananas and keep aside to cool. To prepare the filling heat the ghee in a pan and fry the raisins and cashew nuts. Add the coconut and roast until transparent. Add the cardamom powder and sugar and after it melts remove from fire and keep aside. Remove the black pith inside the bananas and mash the bananas very well. Form lime sized balls with the mashed banana. Flatten each ball inside the palm of your hand and put in the coconut filling and close. Roll the banana into a cylindrical shape and deep fry in oil.
