Rajshri Production's popular show Pyaar Ka Dard Hai on Star Plus will soon be heading for one of the biggest high point of the show wherein Nanaji aka Purushottam Deewan (Mukesh Khanna) will breathe his last.
This high point will mark the beginning of a new track and will introduce veteran actor Anil Dhawan as the new member of the Diwan family.
Sources inform that well-known actor Anil Dhawan who has done various Bollywood films and was last seen in Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki has been cast to play the role of Purushottam Deewan's younger brother Manik Diwan. Manik will be a negative character and will return to the family with a motive. His entry will bring new problems for the Diwan family.
When contacted, Anil Dhawan said, "It's true, I am doing the show but I don't have much details on the character I will be playing. All I can say at this point of time is that I am excited to do the show as my character will have a grey shade to it which is totally opposite to my last show
