India's Dancing Star - platform of dancing talent!

Who knew that dance was a talent that could be found in abundance? Thanks to the various channels, who have partnered with dance reality shows, which bring to you the most professional level dancing performances from the most unassumed corners of the nation.

The dancing reality shows have unearthed dancing talent from people, who are not just in different stages of life, but also hail from different walks of life. From mothers, children, sportsperson to the skilled television artists, the shows have honed the dancing skill of many!

DID Supermoms, on Zee TV, is the latest dance reality show that's creating buzz on the platform of dancing competition. The show is a dance competition, which allows the mothers to showcase their hidden dancing talent on screen. The show is quite different from the other dancing reality shows, as it gives the mothers the chance to display their 'unfinished' passion for dance. The show has garnered good TRP's owing to the mind blowing performances of mothers, who seem to be giving professional dancers, a run for their money!

The next popular dancing show is India's Dancing Star, which is broadcast on Star Plus. This platform allows commoner to showcase their dancing skill, irrespective of age, gender and of course, profession. The competition is judge by Geeta Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh and the famous choreographer Ashley Lobo. The best thing about the show is that it simply is an honest attempt to appreciate dance, in any form, in any one. The comments and the themes of the show have helped the participants to hone and take their dancing skill to the next level.

The last popular dancing show is featured on Colors. No introductions need to be given for 'Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa'! From the famous judges to the celebs turned participants on the show, everyone has helped in raking in enough TRP's to last the entire season. The razzmatazz of the show is only owing to the glamour thrown in by the well scripted and the well choreographed dances on the show and to mention, the ultra glam dancing queen,Madhuri Dixit, who alone drives many amongst the audiences, to stay tuned to the program.

Although, all these dance reality shows have helped the channels to reap in good ratings, however 'Jhalak…' by far remains on top because of the glam quo! Though, the glam quo of other two are constantly upped from time and again through the various celebs, which constantly appear to promote their films on the shows, but Jhalak seems to be unaffected by the star entries. The reason I guess is known to all!

With her 'ghagra' raking in moolah and TRP's for the show, Madhuri still rules the roost with her style, glamour and million dollar smile! As long as she is a part of the show, the TRP's are going to stay up!
