Today, as it marks the commencement of our unforgettable Tere Liye three years back, it also is the day to celebrate the birthday of an actor who portrayed one of the most unforgettable characters in the show ... our very own Laboni Ma aka Supriya Shukla!
The character of Laboni Ma was one of the pillars of the show and Supriya maam played it to perfection ... She made the character so adorable and cute that the viewers would never have enough of her ... The typical style in which she would call Onu as motu would not fail to leave a grin on our faces ...
Supriya maam is just like Laboni Ma in real life too ... She is a bubbly, fun-loving and really caring person ... She has enacted in movies like Parineeta and Do Dooni Chaar and daily soaps like Tere Liye, Dharampatni, Maa, and the currently running Sanskaar ... Inspite of her achievements she is still down-to-earth which makes her a great person apart from being a great actor ...
Supriya maam always seemed to have a very close bonding with the rest of the cast of TL ... She would always seem to be interacting with all the costars in a loving manner ... In one of her offscreen segments, she had stated that Harshad Chopda aka Anurag is just like her own son in real ... That comment was something really sweet of her ... In her status updates and replies on her Facebook page, she has always addressed Harshad and Anupriya like her own kids, with such love and respect ... In situations when fans would ask her anything about TL-2 she always handled it with such patience and would instead ask to keep hope and faith ... She has never failed to reply any of the fans who would post on her wall ... Such small gestures of a talented actor like her indicate how wonderful a person she must really be!
We have been fortunate enough to have witnessed such an awesome actor playing our adorable Laboni Ma to our TaAnu in TL ...
