The UAE government has declared Thursday, June 6, 2013, as a paid official holiday for public and private sectors to mark Isra Wal Miraj.
The UAE government has declared Thursday, June 6, 2013, as a paid official holiday for public and private sectors to mark Isra Wal Miraj.
According to a circular issued by Saqr Ghobash Saeed Ghobash, Minister of Labour, the resolution comes in pursuant to the provisions of article 74 of the Federal Law No. 8 of 1980, concerning the regulation of labour relations and its amendments.
The minister greeted the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; and Their Highnesses, Members of Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates on the occasion.
Ghobash also greeted the government, people of the UAE and residents on the occasion, wishing more progress and prosperity to the Arab and Muslim nations.
