i tried hard to find a picture of Bratchan to find one with an umbrella but failed...i guess he was hiding from the rain somewhere cuz he had no assistant to hold the umbrella for him...HOWEVER Maharani Pinto had apparently a steward that hold the umbrella for her so that she could pose:

because it's hers and that's why that steward was carrying it for her...she wasn't carrying it herself she was adjusting it properly above her head.

Not just the celebrities but even the fans are so much more respectful in Hollywood. A celebrity can live like a normal person for the most part. Go out to walk his dog, shop, carry his own umbrella. Indian celebrities are just spoilt rotten by the damn fans.
