Kanica Maheshwari who is in Star Plus' Diya Aur Baati Hum almost lost her life on her birthday six years ago when one of her friends sprayed an inflammable spray at her because of which the flame on her candles exploded into a big ball of fire and hit her face. Her eyelids, hair and ear got burnt. Her father put out the fire by pouring water on her. Indeed, it was her loving father who was the man behind giving her the best birthday four years ago when he gifted her a birthday car.
