At Swarga Mahishasur gets the news of Tridevas coming to fight with him.
In Devi Dham, Narad asks Devi The positive powers of Tridevas is going to fight with negative energies of Danavas. Ma Durga asks him he seems disturbed for the first time. Narad says none of them can be defeated.
Mahishasur with his Danava sena meets Tridevas, he says he'll be happy to defeate the 3 powers of Trilokas. Brhma tells him he has proved his power by defeating Indra. Vishnu, Mahadev trys to convince him about different places are made for different people, return Swarga to Indra but he refuses. He questins them where were they when Indra killed his father by cheating? He had to be born before time because of Indra.
Ma Durga tells Narad the war is never between 2 powers. It's between Dharma, satya & Adharma, asatya. I am the source of all. This war today may not reach any conclusion but everyone's limit will be decided today.
Mahishasur refuses to return Swarga as all the trilokas are under him now.
Mahadev decides to fight with him. He accepts to fight with them. Tridevas try using different weapons, power on him but he stops all, the funniest was non-rotating chakra of Vishnu. Brhma trys his brhmastra too but they are unable to defeat him. He asks them to accept, that he is undefeatable. Mahadev tells Vishnu to go to Ma Durga as all the arrangement of this World is under her, till then he'll stop Mahishasur. Mahadev manages to tie him with his power.
Precap: All the Devas with Tridevas have gathered at a place. Mahadev says we can't defeate Mahishasur but a woman can & she is Ma Durga.
Ma Durga appears infront of all of them, tells them she is ready to defeate him but they have to give their Shaktis to her.
