Story starts at the 1st year anniversary of Yash and Aarti.Yash has married Aarti a widow with a young son Ansh
Aarti is a wounded woman who was betrayed by her late first husband while she was pregnant with Ansh.Yash fell for her when he saw her perform at a youth festival but came to know that she was engaged to Prashanth and so had backed away 8 years ago.Yash married Arpita and had two daughters with her -- Palak and Payal.Arpita dies and after staying as a widower for a few years he finally says OK to marriage when he sees Aarti's photo as the one his parents select for him.On their suhaag raat he comes to know that Aarti is in the marriage only for Ansh's sake. He decides to let fate take its course in the marriage.Finally Aarti starts to reciprocate Yash's feelings and one night in Mumbai after a near-death experience they both get intimate.Yash hears a phone message the next morning and loses his cool and all return to Bhopal with Yash immensely angry.Later on cooling down he apologizes to all. Aarti is quick to brush the night under the carpet claiming it to be a mistake.Later they get to know that Pankaj is having an affair which he is not. He is being blackmailed.
