Hi,
I am Arathi, a newbie on this forum. This is my first post and it happens to be a Fan Fiction on Bade Acche Lagte Hai. The FF revolves around the upbringing of Ram and Priya's darling ' Peehu who has grown into a beautiful teenager. Yes that's right ' she is a teenager, a smart and intellectual 8th grader. Ram continues to be among the best business tycoons and Priya is his beautiful, charming wife. Ram and Priya together enjoy Peehu's schooling years and have big dreams for her. They aspire for her to be the best in everything she does. She has not disappointed them...so far! 👏
Ram and Priya are both 37 yrs of age, married for 14 years (sigh!) and continue to be a loving couple. There are the cute nok-jhoks and disagreements between them, but they admire and complement each other. Ram and Priya were neighbours as kids, then grew up to be good friends, studied in the same class and both of them topped classes every single time. At some point their friendship blossmed into love, and both families were more than happy to get them married as per their wishes.
Priya took over the responsibilities of the badi-bahu of Kapoor khandaan. But Ram did not want Priya waste her talent. So he brought her on the company rolls of Kapoor Industries in the capacity of a Consultant Business Analayst. She visited the office twice a week, and helped Ram with critical business decisions. Ram respected her decision, knowing that she can be wiser than him at times.
Priya is always irritated about Ram going easy on Peehu, even when Peehu is wrong. 😡 He can only love his daughter and love her more, but just cannot be firm with her. So the onus is on Priya to be both a loving and a strict mom, a role that only Priya can do full justice to. However, Priya still finds it a challenge to handle Ram's mood swings and temperament even after all these years. But she loves the challenge, nevertheless.
Peehu's school building is bang opposite the Kapoor Mansion. So whenever Priya/Ram has the time, they enjoy watching Peehu in her school playground during her Games hour. The school is quite reputed, and focuses on both curricular and extra-curriculars.
Peehu is a star performer at school ⭐️ and is loved by her friends and teachers for her energy and pleasant mannerisms. Peehu respects and loves her parents. She specially adores Priya and wants to grow up to be as successful as her. But Peehu is wary that Priya is a tough mom to please. On the other hand, Ram is a push-over dad, easy to ruffle and easy to melt.
There are no negative characters in the family (we have had enough of them on-screen!) All of them remain the same but no Niharika and maama in my FF. 😉 Ayesha and Sid have an 8-yr old darling, Khush. Nutz and Karthik are blessed with a pretty 10-yr daughter Kashish. Ishika has a son Ishaan. The families stay in different houses yet bonded by love. They all meet up at family functions and organize get-togethers at the slightest opportunity. Peehu happens to be the 'eldest' of the cousins, so the expectation is that she leads by example. At least, Priya believes so. The FF starts off with everything being just perfect and happy, but troubles will trickle here and there, by and by.
