Even though Kareena is keen to become a Begum of Pataudi but she won't convert to Islam unlike mom-in-law Sharmila Tagore. She has plans to have a Hindu wedding and in all probability, will not convert to Islam for her marriage to Saif, according to media reports.
Kareena is all set to flaunt in to be mom-in-law Sharmila's shararakurti and dupatta which worn by Sharmila at her own wedding 43 years ago. The interesting bit it that Kareena will wear the dress sans any alteration with its original design as confirmed by Sharmila herself. On the other hand, Kareena's best friend and designer Manish Malhotra, who also designed Karisma's bridal outfit, will play an important part in putting together Bebo's entire wedding trousseau.
According to the sources, Kareeena Kapoor is expected to don a Rs. 40 lakh necklace, designed by traditional wedding jewellery designers, Kruti Jewellers. In fact, many wedding jewellery pieces for Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan's wedding are expected to be designed by these Rajkot-based jewellers.
Wedding of Saif and Kareena is held on October 16 and the wedding
venue is expected to be the Pataudi ancestral home. The marriage
ceremony will only be attended by family members and close friends of
Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan as Sharmila Tagore confirmed the
reports. According to sources, the wedding is being kept a quiet low-key
affair, because Saif Ali Khan's father, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi,
passed away quite recently.
Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan are busy
wrapping up their professional commitments and are keeping themselves
away from giving any media bytes about their upcoming wedding.
