Am sorry Bambooshoot. if I sounded a bit too err regional here 😆..am sure both Aneek & Anwesha have their respective fan-following from other regions...n people have voted for them unanimously but clearly that is not enough with due respects...leaving aside the channel's conniving tactics to rope in the moolah n big bucks...it cannot be ruled out simply that it is mighty imp to be able to get the maximum votes from one's own native place to be able to survive in a comp like this even if the winner is pre-determined..n am far from criticizing the 'Non-bongs' here like u said 😳...infact quite the opp...am sure the ardent fans have done their bit n more...am a bengali myself & happen to know exactly how their minds work...😆...they are generally laid back n that applies to their voting pattern as well 🥱 music is an inseparable part of the culture of West Bengal...& the entire region is mesmerized by the eloquent music styles...but somewhere the killer instinct or combative spirit falls short 😊I really dont understand all these assumptions. tell me something, if anwesha wins the contest how come the channel earns more money than akanshka or irfan or sreeram winning the contest. how? now if you say the winner has to be from star plus channel..im not going to take that because rahul vaidya was not from star. i suggest if you are watching any show watch it with an open mind and take it on face value. all these guess works are not correct..logically thinking.

well have to say I have kinda mixed feelings bout Aneek's elimination 😳...on one hand much as I am disappointed to see a singer of Aneek's calibre being ousted post a phenomenal perf...am not much surprised either coz this was bound to happen sooner or later...😔...now that the public voting fiasco has started...this is inevitable where Bengal is concerned as whenever there is more than one contestant from that region...there is always a dearth of votes...😒
Here Aneek is pitted against Anwesha...who is on the rise...n I was dreading this would transpire... coz even though Aneek has been fairly consistent so far... as viewers we are probably more impressed with Anwesha since she has pleasantly surprised us in more ways than one...don't get me wrong here,they are both my favs & immensely talented...but for the umpteenth time I have seen this happenning in a musical reality show with regards to bong participants...people in Bengal are reluctant voters despite being musically inclined...n hence the votes are far from being evenly distributed
