Hi everyone! Well I was just thinking of the promo'aahh of course how can I think of anything!! It is almost 2 am and I am here after watching it for the gazillionth time! And well as we were all speculating on how it would have come about to the point of ArHi taking the plunge..Here goes

 SS:The compromise,a wedding it is..(based on promo

Arnav was seething in his room after that b a s t a r d left him after gloating. And he thought of everything that was told to him, everything he saw thinking of what to do. And finally decided he had to talk to di and  tell her everything as she deserved to know and more than that he can no longer let that b a s t a r d have his way with her.  She is only gonna be hurt more if he delays telling her cz as it seemed it would be only a matter of time before he would leave his di. And that Khushi Kumari Gupta.. he refused to dwell on that point. Setting his jaw he walked in to his sisters room to do the hardest thing he has ever done, to break his beloved di's heart and to tell her that her entire world was collapsing and he couldn't do anything to save her from the pain and heartache.

And he looked around and finally saw di walking in to the room and followed her.

"Di I want to tell u something" "Chote Kya hua? Why do u look so worried? CHOTE were u crying? R those tears in ur eyes?" she took his face in her hands and asked in a worried tone. And when he still didn't reply she said "Chote look at me. U know u can tell anything to ur di. I'll make everything right for u chote like always. U just have to tell me so I can help" and by the moment arnav was breaking more listening to his di's words.

'How could he tell her? How could he destroy her world with his words. But not doing what is right would be worse' so he turned back as he couldn't do this while looking at her face, her eyes. He didn't want to see him giving his di the worst pain in her life.

"Di I have to tell u something. A small while ago after I talked to u I went to the terrace, to'" his voice broke remembering how happy he was when he went up that staircase, hoping to find all the happiness at the end of it only to have his whole world come crumbling down at his feet.

"' and jijaji and Khushi were there. They were talking about his leaving u and loving her and di I am so sorry di..jijaji is cheating on u.." arnav couldn't continue more and he turned around to face his di only to realize that she was crumpled on the floor in a fetal position, unconscious.

He shouted and crouched beside his di and tried to shake her awake, and when she didn't he quickly gathered her in his arms and walked to the bed and laid her on it and quickly called the family doctor asking him to come, and the doctor asked him what the problem was and he quickly said his di was unconscious. And then the doctor said "well actually she just came 3 days back for a routine checkup and I sent her reports today, a man with them should be there in any second. And Mr. Raizada u have nothing to worry, it is normal in such situations to faint. Specially at the earlier stages.." "what the hell r u talking about ?" asked a completely befuddled arnav and then the doctor said "Oh I'm sorry Mr. Raizada u still didn't know, Mrs. Jha is 2 months pregnant" arnav almost dropped the phone in shock.

The doctor continued "Just make sure she is well rested and have a lot of fluids given to her as well as take the vitamins I have on her prescription and she would be fine. I mean she is healthy as she is. So nothing to worry about."

Arnav mumbled a quick that u to the doctor and finished the call. And as if right in cue Om Prakash walked in holding a large white envelop and he said it was delivered from the clinic. Arnav took it and asked him to leave.

He quickly opened it and read the contents which confirmed what the doctor had said. He didn't know what to do, how could he tell his sister of her husband's betrayal when she was in such a condition. This was getting completely out of hand and he just wanted to keep his head on her and cry, cry for her, cry for the promises he couldn't fulfill, he had promised to keep her safe, never to let tears come to his di's eyes. And he had failed to do just that.

And in a few minutes he composed himself and decided he wasn't not going to tell anything to di. He would have to talk to that Khushi Kumari Gupta and try to make her see reason, he would pay her any amount just to get lost and away from their lives. Thinking of this he quickly sprinkled water on di's face trying to revive her, and he wondered belatedly whether she heard what he had said earlier, and if so how much has she heard.

And the moment he asked her, 'di r u alright? Do u feel any discomfort?' frantically. And Anjali smiled at him and said "I'm fine chote" and then tried to sit up and he helped her making her comfortable. And then she asked him, "Chote what were u going to tell me about u going to the terrace?" and he realized she hadn't heard a thing. And he simply changed the topic saying these reports came from the clinic right now. And Anjjali forgot about what he was earlier telling and quickly opened the reports and a soft smile lit up her eyes and he almost felt physical pain seeing the innocent joy in his di's face, the happiest moment in her life. And she squealed "chote I want to share some good news! U r the first to know! U r going to be a mama!" and he just hugged her too lost for words.

And gruffly said her that she was going to be the best mother in the world and to relax after she tried to get up and tell nani and 'shyam' as he had begun to call him ever since their confrontation in his room. And then she agreed telling yes it better wait as there was enough excitement with PaYash wedding and she wanted everyone to concentrate on than n not her, she gigglingly told her brother not noticing how much of an effort he was putting in to show he was happy.

And the last thing Arnav saw when he turned back at the doorway to look back was his di touching her flat tummy lovingly.

The moment he stepped out of the room he banged in to someone hard and he quickly held the other person from toppling over due to the impact of the bang only to realize it was khushi and he let go as is scalded.

So that is it for now, I'm typing the next part as it is, aaghh my internet connection refused to work for the past hr or so..so i actually typed most f the next part too...so do comment and press the Like button

But Khushi who didn't seem to notice his mood quickly grabbed his arm surprising him and told him frantically that she needed to talk to him, 'alone, in ur room' she added. And while he felt furious at her he led the way in to the room as he himself wanted to talk this out with her.

He once again retraced the steps he took with Shyam and locked the door behind them after checking no one was in it.

"Arnavji..I want to.."

"Shut up Khushi Kumari Gupta SHUT UP! Haven't u done enough?"

"Arnavji what r u talking about? I came to talk to u about something important about.."

"I don't care what the hell u want to talk to me about, bt today u r going to listen to me, and listen to me well"

"but arnavji, shyamji.." she never got to complete her sentence when she felt his viselike grip on her forearms holding her tightly. It was as he usually did, but today she felt a different uncontrollable rage emanating from him, his whole being was shaking and she stared at him open mouthed, scared, scared for him knowing that what she was going to tell to him will only make this worse.

"I saw ur Khushi, I saw everything.. you proved today that girls like u only after men..." Khushi struggled out of his grip and said "Arnavji listen to me, I don't care what u think of me, but I need to tell u something about Shyamji and it is more important that giving me a lecture on my aukad. This is about anjaliji.."

"that is exactly what I am talking about Khushi, and u dare come here and justify urself to me after having an affair with my di's husband?" "what'." She whispered.. "did u hear everything we talked about?" "I'm sorry Arnavji"

Arnav held her tightly again and pinning her to a wall asked "u r sorry? For what for ruining my di's life? Oh ya u r sorry and that covers everything? U and that b a s t a r d " he continued inhis rage.

And she stared at him in growing dread, and finally she whispered "Arnavji if u heard everything why do u think I had an affair with that ..that.." she couldn't complete the sentence..

"what?" he growled as Khushi kept continuing "I fu had been there the entire time on the terrace why didn't u come to help me when he assaulted me? Why did u just watch?". She asked. And when he stared at her in a dumbfound expression and said "what the' r u talking about, don't u dare try to make urself look clean u were hugging him" he spat out.

And she realized that he must have walked there at that point and she thought for a moment not being emotional that she needed to tell him everything, she had delayed too long as it was. And she stopped struggling in his hard grip and said  "I need to tell something and I need u to listen to me first without interrupting" "damn u khushi, how dare u.."

"LISTEN TO ME!!" khushi shouted drowning him. And arnav was shocked for a second and taking advantage of that Khushi started her story, starting from the very beginning from the moment where the ill fated tape released. And she continued in a monotonous voice until the moment she got to know about his true colors on that day about a month back.

And Arnav remembered her behavior that day, how broken she looked and, he stopped himself right there, she still hadn't come to him with the truth and for this entire month had deceived everyone, not to mention today she had told Shyam to leave di.

He sarcastically asked her all that and "after everything u expect me to believe u?" and she hung her head unable to look at his face, and mumbled "Arnavji I know I was wrong to have hidden such a big thing from u guys, Anjaliji deserved to know what a scumbag her husband really is. I swear arnavji I wasted to tell. And I came here to tell her, devi mayyaki kasam" she pleaded him, "but then I realized she wouldn't be able to bear it so I kept quiet"

"and if it was the case, why the hell didn't u come and tell me?" "I am sorry arnavji I made a huge mistake by not coming to u earlier, but I really thought he would reform himself. I thought he will be happy with anjaliji again. I didn't realize he was this far gone, until today and today I did tell him to leave anjaliji but u must have her me telling that b a s t a r d that cz I told him anjaliji deserved someone better"

Arnav was beginning to buy her story, but he still couldn't completely believe in her justification of hiding it for so long and suddenly another reason came to his head, her jiji's wedding! She must have hidden this so that payal could marry akash.

He was furious and shook her hard and bit out "u hid all this just cz ur sister can have a rich husband right? What happened to my sister was nowhere in ur list of priorities?"

Her head rolled back and forth like a rag doll cz of the way he shook her and she tried to get a word in "Arnavji I didn't think to hide it cz of jiji, I did it for u, I didn't want to see u get hurt seeing Anjaliji getting hurt"

Arnav stared at her incredulously. Was she telling the truth, is so what was he to do. And if she was again trying to make a fool of him and his trust in her..he was thinking when she said "arnavji I'll do anything to make up to my mistake.. anything u ask.."

His head spun at that and he looked at her and looked at the tears in her eyes, but the determined look in her face saying that her resolve wouldn't waver.

"anything?'

"yes anything"

"so u r telling u never loved Shyam?"

"yes. I never did, and i'just agreed to marry him cz my family forced me, but broke off the engagement the day I got to know of his reality"

Arnav was listening to this as another part of his brain seemed to vibrate with the words that b a s t a r d had told him about his di being the only one standing between him and khushi.

And arnav made a decision and said to Khushi "I want u to marry me"   

Khushi gaped shocked at what he said!

"Kya?"

"After all this?"

"I'm not doing this for u! damnit di is pregnant Khushi" he snarled at her and Khushi almost felt faintish realizing how complicated the situation had become at once.

And she simply said "yes" looking directly at his eyes, her voice dull and lifeless.

And arnav who was going to yell at her again "don't u'" stopped and stared at her in shock and he asked again to make sure "what did u just say?"

"Arnavji I said I will marry u"

After a moment Arnav composed himself and said "Come we r going"

"we r going? But.. but.. now jiji's wedding.."

"and this is about my sister's marriage life Khushi" he almost snarled at her again. And she nodded and said "let's go"

And they quietly left the house camouflaged by the throng of guests milling around.

They got to arnav's car and he drove them towards the registrar office and Arnav called Aman and Lalith and ordered them to be outside the place within 10 minutes with the basic necessities for a court marriage. And if they were baffled by the instructions, they didn't question him not willing to arouse his wrath.

And then he screeched to a halt in front of the registrar office and they both got down. And without a look at Khushi he walked in to the building and Khushi quietly followed.

And they were met by the infamous Aman & Lalith with their hands carrying 2 var malas n a small paper bag.

And then Arnav asked Khushi to wait in the sitting area and walked in and after a few minutes they were escorted to a room and just like that they got married. "No saath phere, no devi mayya to bless them, no one knew about them" Khushi thought blinking back her tears.

Then she shook her head and strengthened her resolve thinking of Anjaliji, 'No this was not the time to think about her childish dreams and dream weddings'

And then the they were asked to sign on the sheet of paper and they were declared husband & wife and as the registrar looked on expectantly and Arnav scowled and took a var mala as did Khushi and they exchanged them and then Arnav's scowl deepened as Aman held out a small heart shaped box of vermilion. And just as mechanically Arnav took a pinch of sindoor and filled her bare mang as Khushi lowered her head and closed her eyes thinking "this might be only to save anjaliji, but this was the only marriage she was ever going to have. And maybe not for the correct reasons or the way she wanted it to happen, but it was with him, who made her heart go dhak dhak everytime he came near her. The only person she had ever wanted to marry" Ad then he tied the small mangalsutra around her neck completing in all the outward symbols of marriage..

And like that they walked back to the car and he started driving back home. And he kept his eyes trained on the road and didn't turn to look around at her. And she also looked outside quietly belatedly realizing that he was now her husband! OMG Arnavji was now her husband and she was his wife! And she gave a start at that and he swiftly looked at her and Khushi blushed.

Arnav looked at her and he thought she looked sad and was wondering had she lied to him only to see that she was blushing. And as he kept his gaze on her the red staining her porcelain cheeks intensified and for the first time since this fiasco started about 3 hours back he smiled, a tiny smile and only to himself and quickly schooled his features before she saw him.

He thought of how he was planning to do the very same thing this morning, just that in a very different manner and now finally she was his wife! He felt a strange satisfaction and peaceful after so long.

With these thoughts in both their minds they got down from the parked car and walked towards the house. It was time to face the music.
