Yesterday when Ashni left to check out on Nidhi s baba, CVs emphasized on the 2 cups of Chai...

Why so much importance to 2 undrunk cups of tea...What symbolism were CVs trying to show here ???

Please explain me as I fail to understand this.

Might be they wanted to show that they both were busy in talking
To each other and didn't had their tea...
They were very occupied with their heart to heart talk and not the chai..

Well if u see the tea cups were partially empty.. so it culd b a perspective that... one partner in the relation sees situation .. life as HALF FULL (Nidhi) whereas... another partner sees it as HALF EMPTY (Ashu) and both perspectives reside.. simultaneously like the two glasses kept side by side!

3 meanings possibly:

1. two cups are half empty but together the quantity equals 1 cup. so the two of them are in need of each other and together they are 1.

2. This is the quantity of tea you get in a cutting tea cup in Lucknow. Pl see carefully.

3. The director's wife sent him out of the house without tea and he was overtaken by the craving for tea by the time the shot ended and longed for the tea cups. So he was focusing on the tea. That might explain the lousy bland shot before.
