This is my second fan fiction and it is called Soulmate. When Arnav's mother (also his father) were about to die, she made Khushi's parents promise her that Arnav will get married to Khushi and Akash to Payal. While Akash and Payal talked/met with each other over the 10 years, Khushi and Arnav had not. Arnav dismissed Khushi from his life and would only return back to Khushi when it was time for marriage. He sent money to Gupta family and also paid Khushi's college fee. However, they never talked. And then one day, he suddenly turns up...
She stood in Mandir praying for good health of her fiance who she only saw in the newspapers, magazines, and on television. She prayed that wherever he was he would face no obstacles and accomplish his dreams. Though she knew he would never come,she still did a Karva Chauth for him for the last 5 years. She turns around and sees the moon. She takes her sieve and looks at the moon with it and tilts it little below and then...her body goes all numb.
She drops her thaal and stares at the person she sees through her sieve that is coming before her . Its HIM. Her breathing slows while her heart beat pounds heavy against her clothes. Her body is filled with numerous emotions of anger,happiness, and betrayal. She whispers to him as stands before, "Arnav."
