Why did you walk out of the shooting for Kandyfloss?
It was a discussion on marriage. It became a debate between Amrita Saluja and me. The point of discussion was how do you view your husband. She said something like 'pati parmeshwar hai.' I didn't agree with that at all. How can you give a human being the place of God?
So, you walked out of the show?
Yes. Because the whole discussion was going nowhere. It was becoming meaningless because I felt she was contradicting her statements. So I chose to walk out.
But you could have argued your viewpoint. Why walk out?
I made my ground pretty clear and then left. I didn't want to argue on something baseless.
Have Amrita and you patched up after the show?
Yes, we are okay with each other. Both of us said what we wanted to on the show. There is no issue.
Were you touchy about the marriage topic because your marriage didn't work out?
Yes, my marriage 11 years ago, didn't work out. But that's not a touchy topic. I believe completely in the institution of marriage. I might even plan to get married in the future. My whole point is that we cannot equate a person with God.
So are there wedding bells in the near future?
