Found this old video of Nivedita from when she was in the running to become "Anandi" in Balika Vadhu.  I had not seen it before so thought I would share it here.

"Anandi" is the name of the character she was auditioning for.  There were 3 potentials for the new Anandi and I think the fans got to vote on who they wanted to portray the role.  I never watched Balika Vadhu but I think the show did a 5 year leap so they had to re-cast for the character.
