Asif's pretty new act
TNN | Apr 7, 2011, 12.00am ISTIf you thought getting into a characters skin was easy, think again! Asif Sheikh aka Vijay has had a life altering experience on the sets of the magic comedy show " Ring Wrong Riing" recently.
He was subjected to men's attention and women's envy throughout the shoot of an episode.
Asif agreed to play the character of a woman and prepared for days trying to perfect his mannerisms. He was encouraged by his onscreen wife Muskaan Mihani aka Mansi who taught him all about feminine aadayein and helping him with his costume. On the day of the shoot, Asif caught the attention of everyone on the sets as he walked around in his new avatar. To motivate him, the crew members started sending him flowers and chocolates. Rakesh Bedi aka Babuji hooted and cheered for Asif and made him do a catwalk.
An embarrassed Asif said, "My respect for women has doubled after playing this character! Hats off to all the ladies for being the way they are – extremely beautiful and graceful.
