Hey, This is just a short update from memory. I see people asking for the update so here goes.
Epi started with Chaturvedi family gathered around Dadaji's bed (minus Chedi). Pashu is very upset about Toasty meeting with his mother in law. He is as usual taking out his anger and blaming Toasty for meeting that woman. He warns Tej that "this is how it begins". Tej tries to pacify Pashu by apologizing for Toasty but Pashu says he is not a saint who will keep forgiving everyone. Tej then tells Toasty how disappointed he is with her behavior as they have talked about this many times. Toasty is on the verge of tears. Ved finally says that no one has asked Toasty to explain herself. He suggests that maybe Toasty didn't even know who that woman is and she was the one who approached Toasty. Pashu seems to give it a thought and Tej asks Toasty if she knew that the woman was Pashu's MIL. Before Toasty can answer, her parents rush into the room to invite everyone to have pakoras. Pashu tells everyone that they are leaving in 1/2 hour and to get to the bus quickly. Toasty's mom asks what happened but they avoid the question.
Malti is packing her bags and getting mad at her mother for doing all this. She says she doesn't understand what her mother is up to and why she involved Toasty in the middle of this as she is innocent and will now bear the brunt of their actions. Malti's mom says thats what she wants. She wants Toasty to be ill treated and that way Toasty will side with them in court. Mati says she doesn't understand anything and her mom tells her its because she is too simple minded. She tells her that now there will be two divorces in Chaturvedi house.
Chaturvedi family is back home and settling in. Pashu is still cold towards Toasty and she is upset. Tej and Toasty take Chedi to his room and he has a moment with them. Chedi tells Toasty that he used to argue with his wife when she says that daughters take care of their parents better. But today Toasty proved him right because as a DIL she has taken better care of this family that a daughter could have. He has seen this family get back its happiness that was lost for years. Toasty gets emotional as she comes out of the room and sees Tej talking to Pashu. They were discussing how Tej also believes that Toasty would not deliberately do anything to hurt them.
Toasty's mom is worried about her and her dad tries to tell her to leave it alone. But she is too worried as she thinks something has happened to upset Toasty and its related to Pashu. She calls Toasty who is already guilty and upset to find out what happened. But Toasty gets angry and tells her to stop probing (i think Toasty's mom was a bit hurt). Tej comes to their room and Toasty tells him she needs to tell him something. She hugs him first and tells him not to be angry with her as she tried to tell him many times before. She reminds him of the woman who used ot call her often and trouble her even before the wedding and it was Malti's mom. She tells Tej that she met Malti's mom before. Tej is shocked and hurt and steps away from her. END>
