Sahara's new shows get their time slot.(article

Sahara One has been axing its current prime time shows one after the other as the channel is set to bring in new concepts now.

Two shows which were in the pipeline will be launched soon. Creative Eye'sRishton Ke Bhanwar Mei Uljhi… Niyati and Haye Padosan, a sitcom by Maximum Productions, a new production house which will be the first comedy for Sahara One.

The channel has just axed Bitto which aired at 8 pm. Shorr which airs at 11 pm currently, will now replace Bitto from Monday. Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki of Rajshri Productions which ran for almost six years in the prime time slot of 9pm, will also shut shop by this month end.

Says a source, "Woh Rehne Waali will end on January 20 and Niyati will fill its slot then. Haye Padosan has got the early prime time slot of 7.30 pm."

Dheeraj Kumar, producer, Creative Eye says, "It may be 9 or 9.30. Anything is fine."

We tried to confirm this with Mushtaq Sheikh, Creative Head for Sahara One, but he remained unavailable.
