When Baa and Jigar came back and were seeing Aham give the kangan back to Gopi, baa started to tease him and "the Aham we know came out" because he hadn't her the kangan instead of putting it on her wrist as she, Gopi, was offering Aham to do.
By the Aham we know came out - I mean the Aham that does what is required to the bear minimum. Like do the Puja with Gopi, take Aati (he does it mechanically).
This is why sometimes in the short fan fiction when someone mentions he would make Gopi pregnant and not own up to it, to him it's like a betrayal of Anita and his love for her, this is why he is holding himself back, i just wish Anita would come back and reveal to everyone, that she and Umang are gold diggers. Because from that horrible scene on Monday, Aham is almost saying Gopi wants a comfortable life in his house (so she is the gold digger).
