I am talking abt something different but that is related to our Industry...and it is being harmed again and again..

Since Hanuman 2005, we haven't had any commercial success in animation field, but why we are hellbent on putting so much money and wasting it like thin water Can't we understand tht youth cant connect with animations(unfortunately) and kids ggive hardly any importance to anything other than tom and jerry.

when we will understand tht we r just making things miserable for the future animators..what we are trying to show...tht we can compete hollywood in terms of animation...NO WE CANT even in our dreams...we can appreciate them at home but we cant spend rs 150 or 450 for it...isn't it?🀒

even then the producers are hell bent on making expensive films...what for? πŸ˜•πŸ˜•πŸ˜• When makers of ek khiladi ek haseena saw what is currently happening to the animation films...they dropped their animation project. because they knw tht it can just become worse like anything.

This year we saw three big animation movies...and in a line by records they sank without a trace, Ganesha, Luv kush and recently released ketan mehta's RAMAYANA..

The list does not end up here...Kuchie Kucchie hota hai and toonpur ka superhero are coming..

I just can pray to god to do a chamatkar but tht seems impossiblee.

Yeah. That looks pretty decent. I think the indian audience is still not ready for animation movies. 😊

The problem is that they are all religious animated movies, if they want to bring more success they need to do different genres. Roadside Romeo, Bird Idol , Koochie Koochie Hota Hain, Toonpur Ka Superhero is the right direction if they want success. Maybe they need to realize that they are flops because kids find them boring, or there is not enough market audience for them.

The fact of the matter is, look at Hollywood, jeez Bollywood, you copy everything else, when our we going to get copies of animated movies like Toy Story, Lion King, Shrek..

Plus it is true, the animation is not the best, their full length films aren't even as good as Hollywood's direct to DVD animated films. Though animation is not entirely to blame, even a 2D animated movie can do well if the story is there. The movie should be enjoyable so that the whole family can watch... They started dabbing in 3D animation and they didn't even have 2D animation down yet.

a long way to go for animation, i loved hanuman though

aww..comeon.....chota hanuman was soo cute!!!!

but yeh....if we want animation films to do well...they need to have memorable characters...popular enough to create a franchise....the problem with our animation films is that they spend too much time focusing on the quality of animation (which is pretty good)...rather than the actual story/plot/characters....which is why we are all so "meh" abt animation movies in bollywood....the ramayana and mahabharata have been done in soo many times on television and movies that people dunt find those stories new or interesting. We need better script writers who can write good stories for animation films without making them seem like a dumb "cartoon-network" show meant for 2 year olds.
