Zee TV's popular serial Chhoti Bahu which recently witnessed a big twist with Dev's (Avinash Sachdev) death and then the show taking a leap of 5 years. Even after so many twirls it's just Radhika's (Rubina Dilaik) belief that one day Dev would come back has been hold on to.

As believed Dev is alive but he is seen as a completely different person residing in Agra in a diverse look, with a new family.

As reported earlier by tellybuzz, that Maitri aka Sonia Singh would be entering as Dev's wife and her family would be introduced after some episodes.

So the latest buzz is that Maitri's family would be introduced in tonight's epidsode.

According to our source, "Sheeba Chadha who was last seen portraying a negative role in Imagine TV's Kitne Mohobbat Hai will essay the role of Maitri's mother. She is a very dominating personality all the family members shiver to face her and her on screen name is Katyayani."

Our source also added that, "Maitri has a brother which will be essayed by Vineet Chowdhury and Rakhi Verma who was last seen playing the love interest of Puneet Sejwani in Color TV serial Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam will enact the role of her brother's wife. Maitri also has a kid which is played by Krish Parekh."

"Maitri's brother is a happy go lucky person and doesn't take any household responsibility on his shoulders and Dev works in Maitri's family business and is the bread earner for them. So Katyayani has greater respect for his son in law and considers him above her own son", informed our source.

So the story track here after will focus on this new family, especially Dev's bonding with all the members and his character portrayal as a dutiful husband, father and a son in law.

As the story unfolds with time and it would be only when Radhika, Dev come face to face that is when the story would come down to its central plot.

The family's entry sequence of the family will be aired tonight.

Its really disgusting what the CV's are trying to do. Everytime i think that the CV's will do better they bring new stupid track. I really dont want to see dev being a dutiful husband towards another woman

The personality of Abhay is totally different than Dev..

The new family which he is associated now may know him since last 5 years but he is Purohit nonetheless.. The new family has taken advantage of his amnesia and made him such..

Thanks for the article. Indeed sad news.😭 It is just so painfull to think that Radhika and Dev were apart for five years. And Dev and Radhika didn't even had 1 year of happiness. Hate this leap. And now Dev has a new family and they have spend more time with Dev than Radhika ever had. Feel like crying 😭 Radhika wasted 5 years of her life waiting for Dev while Dev was a good husband to someone else according to this article. Just hate it. And what a justice. CVs have lost it.

Howsoever rocking the new character of Dev is but the only concern is that he shud never be anyone else faithful husband apart from Rads...if this is the way CVs want to portray the new Dev as faithful to his new family (wife including).............the show gonna doom.......................here we all are expecting Dev trying to remmber his past connection n not to establish any kind of relation with his fake wife n see CVs are planning something else.............then what was that promo all abt?????????

What is the use of Rads so much of bakhti n whr is the Kanha Justice in this...........this is ridicule...if they wanna show this then let them.....i and many other for sure gonna walk out of their show....
