Someone left a baby on the steps of Kanha's mandir and from that day on Kanha took the unfortunate baby under his wings and started building her destiny. Then he brought in Dev an avtaar of himself. Dev is a modern gutsy, honest, loyal, reliable, fearless, protective, loving, carrying young man. He is even willing to give up his own life for Radhika, a Kanha's protge.
Radhika is a very kind, docile, true, divine person. Her unfailing devotion to her Kanha and her adoptive family is very selfless. She would go to any length to help her family and that we have seen. Right now she is helping Vishaka because she knows nobody is willing to help her. Vishaka's parents have abandoned her. Because of Radhika's kind nature, Radhika fails to see her sister's selfish and cunning motives and tries to help her within her limits. Amma has constantly driven into her head that she is dutifully bound to help Shastriji's Parivaar. Remember she even forgave Amma and took all Amma's pain on herself.
Radhika was married to Dev during the first wedding, but why she was not able to tell Dev that she was his wife and not Vishaka? Before even I had blamed Radhika for hiding the truth from Dev, but now I understand the plight she was put into. After the first marriage ceremony, when Amma and Vishaka started to snatch off Radhika's bridal attire Devki did protest, but Amma stopped her by saying that Radhika only filled Vishaka's place as a stone as even Devi-Devta had done before. Hence, Radhika started believing in that. Even though in her heart she believed she was Dev's real wife. Then Devki emotionally convinced her that if the truth is out, Vishaka's life will be ruined and Babuji will be suicidal (Jamuna me dub jawenge). Once she did try to tell Dev the truth on Dev's father's funeral day but Dev was in so much pain that he didn't hear her instead he blamed her for his emotional state of mind. So she kept quiet. She tried to tell him the truth during Phool Bangla but Amma heard it first and reprimanded her. Devki once again emotionally blackmailed her that Vishaka's life would be ruined.
Kanha was already setting Radhika's destiny. First by sending Vishaka to some audition and Radhika got married to Dev instead of Vishaka. Then he made Dev search for his dream girl and he found her at Raas Leela. Now he was convinced that she did exist but then Radhika refusal to be with him left him heartbroken. Then he wanted to go back to America, but Kanha had other plans for him. He was announced as the next Raj Purohit and had to stay. On the day of Raj Purohit ceremony, Vishaka ran away and Radhika had to again replace her by Amma's suggestions. Lo Behold, Dev, her husband drove her to Purohit house and she entered the Purohit house as a real Raj Purohitain, which was rightfully hers. She did all the ceremony with her husband including Sajaawat of mandir suggested by her husband. She cooked her first grand meal as a Raj Purohitain, which her husband savored the meal happily. Kanha came again in the form of Dadima convincing Babuji to let Radhika stay at Purohit house. Dadima thought she will be great help in grooming Vishaka and so Radhika stayed at her husband's house. Again another Kanha's leela''.Amma and Devki suggested to Radhika to arrange Saat phera for Vishaka and Dev in Haridwaar Mandir. Dev bought a Kanha's locket to give it to Radhika and that brought them face to face, letting Dev find the real identity of his dream girl. That marriage did not take place as it was not meant to be. Dev got really sick after that and Kanha made Radhika stay and save Dev's life. Dev made her promise not to leave him again. So Kanha was gradually finding ways for Radhika to be nearer to her husband. First Birju knew about them and then Vivek Bhaiya found out. Dev, Dadima and Vaishali started to see the true colors of Vishaka and Dadi-Vaishali started appreciating Radhika. Through Mrinalini's scheming plot, Radhika was thrown out of PH by dadi. This led Dev to Vridhavan to search for truth. Shashtriji' found out Radhika's ouster from PH through Paanchayat and then everybody knew the real truth from Devki about why Rad's was thrown out. Even though the plot was weaved by Mrinalini, Vishaka got burnt that led her to pursue her dream in Bollywood. Another Kanha's leela, if Dadi had not driven Radhika out of PH, nothing would have happened. Later Radhika officially married Dev and he became her strongest protector.
Before Radhika did try to amend Vishaka and Dev's so called marriage, but both were uninterested. Vish did try to have a child for the sake of Purohit wealth, but thanks to Kanha that did not happen. It would have been a great catastrophe, a child out of wedlock. Kanha works in mysterious ways.
Radhika and Dev's love for each other is getting stronger day by day and can tackle any storm. After Vishaka poisoning Dev's mind, all of us were expecting a very grim turn, but it turned out to be one of the most memorable episode, husband and wife's openness with each other. Dev nudging the truth from Radhika so lovingly, giving her all the chance to come out clean rather than blaming her. It was a touching moment. Their acting was very heartwarming. Three cheers to the creators. As I said before, Kanha has some mysterious ways to bring them together all the time.
