The next day Rani gets a call from the bank and she informs them that she couldn't arrange the money. The officers inform her that they will have to auction the house. Everyone is tensed. The Rathod house gets auctioned. Rani gets a letter stating that the Mumbai government wants to honor them for the four brothers' act of bravery. They all go to Mumbai and live in a guest house. Tauji is worried for their future and Rani tries to reassure him. All the four women are honored.

Harishchandra is feeling proud. Rani is searching hard for a house, but is unsuccessful. She goes to an estate agent and he asks for an advance rent of 6 months. Rani reaches home and everyone starts asking her about the house. Rani changes the topic. Rani thinks about taking help from Deven but she remembers how he was insulted. The next day Rani again goes house hunting but is disappointed. Rani sees a family living on the footpath and she imagines her family there. Rani meets Deven and asks him for his help. Deven informs her that there is a house empty near his house. Deven stops himself and says that he doesn't want to hurt Rani's family but Rani insists that they are in need of a house. Their luggage is being moved out and Mahatre asks his driver to drop them wherever they want to go. They all look at Rani and she tells the driver to go to Kandivali. Everyone heaves a sigh of relief.

Deven is working in the kitchen; his mother comes and sees him working. A beautiful bonding moment between mother and son. A frustrated angry female Swati has come. She overhears her mother in law and Deven and she leaves. Deven's family enters the chawl and Rani sees Deven hiding and she thanks him. Naren is walking fast and he collides with Rani. His vegetables fall and Naren starts shouting at her. A fight starts between Naren and Payal and Deven sees this and stops. Naren leaves in anger. In the house Naren tells Swati everything and Swati taunts Deven. Naren also shouts at him and they all leave him alone. Rani is unpacking her luggage. A man comes with a tiffin and Payal asks who has sent this but Rani covers up. At the time of dinner, they hear a loud voice and all stop eating. Naren and Swati shout at Deven. Deven gets hurt and bleeds. Naren goes to Payal throws a bill on her face and asks her to pay this. Payal is shocked to hear Deven's name.

Payal tells Naren everything about Deven and Naren leaves in anger. Rajni remembers how she saw Jai in Deven. Rani goes to Tauji and makes him understand. The next day Rani realizes that after coming to Mumbai all the family members have become responsible. Rajni is standing in a queue for water and she sees Deven. Deven leaves without taking water. Deven also helps Tauji and Menaka to get the stick. Tauji apologizes to Deven. Payal also has a fight with the vegetable seller. Payal sits in a cab to go to the wholesale market but the driver is bad. She leaves. Payal reaches home and tells them everything. Rani and Payal decide to work. The next day they both leave for interviews. They are both standing at the station but going in different directions. Payal asks Rani to go. Payal gets on the gent's compartment by mistake.

1154 Payal sees all the men around her and some try to take advantage of Payal. Payal gets angry and the men say crude things about her. Payal somehow manages to get down. The TC asks Payal for the ticket and she bursts out at him. Rani gets a job in the hospital and she is happy. Rajni is working in the kitchen and she finds it difficult to close the tap. She sees Menaka and Tauji sleeping and moves out to ask the neighbors about the plumber. Rajni sees that the neighbor is not at home. She is hesitating to ask anyone else and Deven sees this and moves towards her. Rajni doesn't say anything to Deven. Menaka comes and informs Rajni that the kitchen is full of water and in a mess. Deven senses that there is a problem and calls the plumber. Payal gets a job in the jewelry shop. Payal is happy. Rajni asks Menaka for the plumber's number and Deven understands and gives her the number. Menaka is standing between them and Rajni writes down the number. Rani and Payal reach home and inform everyone that they have got jobs and they are all happy for them. Rani prays to God and Payal also mellows down towards God. Rajni sees Deven standing down.
