someone bumps into naeli who almost drops the murti but a religious man(whose only parts of his face are shown) catches the murti and says he has no money to buy a murti. naveli says its ok, its diwali. the man gives naveli a lottery ticket and blesses her and leaves. shree comes and hugs naveli and says to go home. while they are walking a lady asks for 1 rupee since shes poor. shree says if 1 rupee can light a diya in someones home she will give it. shree gives 1 rupee to the lady who looks at the bag with greed and walks away. kangana's laugh is heard. the lady turns into madhu, then kangana.
hari thinks he couldnt do anything, none of his designs passed, the house will remain in darkness. shree says diwali will be celebrated and diyas will be lit, money has been prepared, yesterday night she and naveli made murtis and sold them in the morning and they will celebrate with the money. hari says she didnt tell him. shree says he wouldnt have let her go if he knew, he must feel bad. hari says he still feels bad that with him his wife and kid had to work, they had to sell murtis and do small jobs. shree says how is it a small job, what can be bigger than making bhagban murtis on diwali night, and to go to the store with her to buy the things, the money is enough. shree opens the bag and sees the money is gone. shree finds 1 rupee and says where is the rest of the money.

sumati says this never happened before, everyone is lighting diyas and there is darkness in raghuvanshi house. niki says its a habit now, if they broke the mandir, like all diwalis they could have celebrated, but shree is more worried about her zid than their happiness. hari says niki is responsible for the darkness in this house. niki shouts hari but "madhu" puts her hand on niki's leg to stop her. anant says today theres no money for pooja, tomorrow something else, why doesnt hari break the mandir. hari says that mandir wont break. anant says why, is it more important to protect than mandir than the house, hes too busy protecting the mandir and ruining the house. shree thinks brothers are fighting, in everyone elses houses they are celebrating, here they are fighting among themselves and prays for the darkness to go out.
"madhu" walks with a lit candle. she tells shree its very dark, sometimes light should be scared of dark because sometimes darkness wins. shree says no, no matter how big the darkness is, it loses against light, she wont lose to this darkness, shes sure light will come and darkness will have to lose. the man who saved naveli's murti from falling and who gave her the lottery ticket comes with some men and things. the man says this is all because of naveli, the lottery ticket was worth a lot. the man leaves. "madhu" thinks that naveli ruined her plan. shree says this is bhagban's blessings, bhagban sent them for them, so that they can celebrate happily. sumati says to shree because of her shraddha diyas will be lit today, and to do pooja together now, today shree will do the pooja.
shree does the arti while everyone prays exceot for "madhu" who looks angry.
on the terrace, shree takes sumati's and tribhu's blessings. shree asks badi ba and niki why they are standing alone and to join eveyrone else. hari says sorry to anant for talking to him like that in the morning, today is diwali and to participate with them. anant goes with hari. "madhu" thinks that shree and hari made the family together again, shree's diyas shouldnt bring light in everyone all their efforts will be wasted. hari gives rudra and naveli firecrackers to light. shree tells them to be careful. naveli lights it and offers it to rudra. rudra says no. naveli says shes against kangana not him. rudra says naveli is against his real mom so against him. naveli says if he feels that way, then with sin, he has to lose too because sin has to lose one day. rudra says naveli will be punished for making him lose. sumati and badi ba hug. naveli continues playing with the firecrackers while rudra walks away. shree says to hari everyone is together today. hari says its because of her trust. shree says all the problems will go away. naveli is playing with her firecracker. rudra sees one about to burst and is about to pick it up. naveli sees it about to burst and pushes rudra out of the way and gets hurt on her eyes. everyone goes to naveli and takes her. only "madhu" and rudra stay and smile evily.
