Kolangal Updates for Sept 05

updates 1st and 2nd sept

Rajesh-Rajesh and his friends talking meanwhile another friend comes with sweets since he is a father. They congrats him and one of the other friend make comments about when Rajesh will became father, this upset Rajesh and a fight starts. Rajesh mother intervents and stops this. Arthi and kala listens when his mother angrily talks to Rajesh, even if here it isn't a big issue, people around will start talking abt this and we cant stop their mouth. And also herself and her husaband wish for a grandchild.

Arthi protests, she wants to finish her graduation and get a good job, she isn't ready for a child etc. Kala starts her blah blah with Arthi and arathi in the end leaves for the special classes.

Kodaikanal-
Abhi is walking and immersed in thoughts- her previous visit along with bhasakar etc etc- she enquires abt an old couple whom they met and is upset when she learns that they are no more.

now a person is standing on the top of the mountain and he calls her and ask her to push him down- becoz he is afraid to jump himself- abhi is angry and she says she wil call the police- he asks isn't she interested why he is going to suicide- she says it is none of her business - she walks away- guy smiles- 😃

Ishwar's house-
he is immersed in deep thought- the phone rings- but he doesn't notice-kanchana attends the call and says ishwar is not there- she starts her argument with her hubby- he leaves finally- Mother in law listens all these and try to comfort her by some excuses- but kanchana in the end says that she will die if ever Ishwar try to contact his first wife. 😡

Arathis house-
kala pour enough oil into rajesh's mind- arathi comes and kala starts her blah blah- arathi's says not to interfere in her life- But rajesh supports her and he demands that either she should behave like a proper wife or else he will take drastic steps- since all his friends are making fun of him. he is not ready to accept arathi's views- as she says it is only for their bright future.

arathi cries and kala of course is happy.

kodaikanal-
all are taking food -cracking jokes- and the cook says abt some ghost who come at 10.00 o'clock or so.

Adhis house-kanchna's room-

adhi comes with her food and asks why she doesnt take food- she says she is upset- his father is not showing any interest in his engagement- adhi consoles her and tells that he will take care of it himself- he wants his mother to be happy always- she says not to be so obseessed with her- but adhi says he love her very much ,she is everything for him and then only his wife and all other comes and only because she liked usha he is going to marry her. both of them starts feeding each other.

Kodaikanal- abhi and team walks- jeni sees them- jeni says that she was born here but brought up outside- now her parents are no more- they died in an accident and so she is back to serve the poor people here.

jeni invites them to her house- joe watches all these- he locks inside a room while all of them are walking towards the house- all seated and jeni calls joe- infroming abt the guests-

5 th September

Jeni's house- Joe hides inside the room and watch abhi and family- abhi and all leaves after coffee- joe poses as though he has some internal fever when jeni comes to the room.

arthy's house- all family members are present- arathi's friend kokila comes and gives a good news- arathi is selected in an all India competitive exam- she is the only one from tamil nadu- now she has to attend a two day seminar- some 6000 rupees is needed- her brother in law is happy and is ready to pay the money- kala says first let her manage her house and husband- this is not a big thing- but kokila says yes it is big thing -but rajesh is against her going.

Kodaikanal- tourist bus- some block in the road – then the other person(who wants to suicide) tries to get into their bus- the guide tries to stop him- he actually wants to go to the suicide point-to die- he sees abhi- abhi is getting angry with him- finally he is dragged out of the bus-
Iswar's house- Iswar is trying to speak to kanchana- she is not yielding- finally iswar manages to make her happy- he call all his children and ask them to get ready to go for the purchase -for the new daughter in law- adhi listens to all these and he is also very happy- all are very happy and cracking jokes etc etc.

6th September

Usha's house-
Adhi comes and asks usha's mother to send her with him for purchase- she agrees – but usha is sitting idle- mom asks her whether she is again thinking abt abhi- usha is irritated and then thulasidas 's phone comes- adhi picks the phone and transfers it to usha- she is talking rudely- she asks him not to call her again without a solid reason- adhi and mother is extremely happy hearing all these-

Jewellery- iswar ,kanchana ,anu and anjali are busy purchasing – karpakam and brother comes there to sell some old gold- iswar is hiding from her-both sister and brother leaves- kanchana also sees karpakam- but she ignores karpakam and asks the jewellery owner not to entertain such people- iswar is worried-

Kodaikanal- sight seeing- somebody is taking their photograph- abhi , shanthi and manu questions him- but he is blind actually – sumathi is missing – they begins to search her- sumathi is with joe- he is doubtful whether she is ill or not-anyway he is going to kill her- they are on top of a mountain-he is planning to push her down .

Sept 8th:- Befor joe succeeds in his attempt, shanthi finds them and then joe lies that sumathy was going to jump and tried to push him also- abhi' is coming- joe leaves instantly- shanthi explains to her the whole affair.

Arathi's house- herself and her friend are leaving to trichy- her brother in law give her the required money- no body else is happy abt this- Rajesh is not there- arathi waits for him- he is coming- but he is drunk- rajesh shouts to arathy- his brother drag him away- arathi leaves and rajesh asks his brother not to interfere in his life.

Abhi's home- karpakam and rajendran talking abt kanchana- her behaviour- karpakam came to know it is usha's engagement- she wonders whether abhi is not invited- abhi's phone call comes and abhi asks karpakam to buy a good saree and send it to usha through anandhi-
Abhi is sad- shanthi consoles her- abhi is having flashbacks with usha-

Sept 9th:-
Arathi and friend in auto- her friend says that rajesh is not at all suitable for arathy and how come she live with a drunkard- she advises that arathy should leave him after her studies- arathi replies that she will take a right decision after her exams.

usha's house-adhi and usha back after shopping- with a lot of jeans- her mom and dad also there- they are all happy joking etc- anandi arrives with the gift- usha asks abt all at home- anandi asks why she is changed now-anadi says usha is like family for them- adhi, mom all interfers in their talk-finally anandi leaves with tears-
when usha asks her to do so.

Kodaikanal- abhi shanthi visits jeni- joe hides again- he hides his photo also- abhi and shanthi leaves to see the doctor.

Baskar's house- bhasker is not going to give 25 lakhs for vidya's marriage- he tells she doesnt deserve that much- alamelu says that this is not his money- but renjini's- she says it was her who registerd his marriage by getting abhi's sign etc etc- bhaskar is angry and not ready to give money-

Sept 13th

Bhaskar and dad in car- searching the mother and daughter- finally they reaches the temple- they enquires abt the mom and daughter- divya notices her father and brother- alamelu push her down- and asks her to hide- divya wants to go back- she is hungry-she says tht after all he is her brother and must have told everything in anger- but alamelu is adamant and curses her fate and says that they will drink poison-

Bhaskar finds them out- narayan asks alamelu don't be so childish-
Alamelu takes out poison- narayan stops her – he asks her to come back- she agrees in the end after both father and son apologies to her- bhaskar promise that he will never insult her- all are back-
Narayan's sis ter and son are pretending that they are asleep- narayan advises his son- this is not hard earned money- it is given by renjine- she gave all her wealth because of her love- if a third person can love him so much why cant bhaskar love his mom an sis-
His father says be nice to his mother. Alamelu notices the mother and son and says that she will throw them out tomorrow morning- they are sleeping

Collector's residence-
Iswar and wife is inviting collector and wife for the engagement- now the collector says that it is very rare that the rich people choose a middle class bride and he emphasis on their wealth- he is really surprised( what a collector- no dignity at all in his words- talks like an uneducated man)

Kodaikanal-
Sumathi is walking alone again – joe sights her- he takes her to the mountain top- now he is going to pull her down again- he sees someone taking photos- he is stuck.

Sept 14th
Kodaikanal cliff-Joe is shocked to see someone taking photos- Shanthi arrives searching sumathi and joe tells that she again tried to commit suicide- shanthi again thank him and leaves. Now joe is searching for the person who was taking photos- he asks somebody abt the photographer and locates his favourite place- now Joe is after kannan.

Abhi and manoo are surprised to hear all these- same suicide attempt and being saved by the same person- strange coincidence- such things never happened while they were in madras- Father arrives and all are worried abt sumathi's episode- now abhi says the doctor prescribed some sidha vaidhyam-she is not happy with that –but the priest explains her the merits of that treatment- now the doctor suggested some place for it also- that is shanthi village. The priest cannot go with them since it is jenni's marriage- he says that shanthi knows the place very well- she is tensed- he assures that now old beliefs are not so prevalent there. Shanthi agrees reluctantly. They are leaving the next day.

Adhi's house- Engagement preparations are on full swing- All family extremely happy- makeup men are coming from Bombay for Adhi( they have done make ups for the three khans of bollywood!!!!!!!)- all these are arjun's arrangements- etc etc- The mother in law is very happy with iswar and says he is doing everything like she wanted-

Joe and kannan-
Joe is waiting for kannan at his address- he arrives- joe surprised to learn that he is blind- He introduces himself as a reporter and says his camera is lost- every body there praised abt kannan- so he came to meet him- kannan is very happy- joe is ready to write an article abt a blind man taking photos- kannan is happy- joe asks him abt the photos- kannan says that they are given for developing- joe says that he will come next day and collect them for his report.

Sept 15th

Usha's house-

Anu, Anjali and arjun arrives there – Everybody bought her sarees etc- all of them want usha to wear their selection- usha is in a difficult situation- she cant choose between- Her mother is very happy to see all these- she says she is very happy because her would be in laws care so much for usha- arjun says he will do anything for his anni. He arranges a big car for her travel-

Kodaikanal- Abhi and party in shanthi's village- shanthi is tensed- she is happy also- she shows abhi and manu all the places where she used to go and play etc etc-
An old man recognize shanthi and says that her aunt died- Shanthi weeps- Eventhough the aunt treated her badly she raised her and her aunt was her only blood relative-
The old man says that now the village people changed a lot- now they don't practice old beliefs. ( I haven't watched the earlier shanthi episodes- what happened to her etc)
Shanthi and all go to the sidha vaidhyan's place- he is meditating.

Sept 16th

Kodaikanal- Siddha's place-

Abhi, manu, shanthi and sumathi is there- Sidhha is performing some pooja- Shanthi and Siddha knew each other- they talks and she introduces others. Abhi explains abt sumati- siddha is going to treat her- he and his assistants apply some herbal packs on her- as they wash it off she is regaining her senses- 😳 back to normal- not fully – she is not speaking- she is remembering joe pushing her.
Kannan's house-
Joe is searching for the photos- two people arrives –they enquires abt him and tell him that kannan is not there, he went to the clinic. Joe is going to the clinic now.
Hospital-
😊 Dr Mahesh is talking to sumathi- she is relaxing in a chair- he asks her to remember the various incidents in her life from child hood to marriage- she recollects all- she remembers her marriage, first night and even joe trying to push her from mountain- the doctor come out and sends shanthi into the room.
He explains everything to abhi and says she is cheated by a fraud and that is why she is mentally upset. He also says somebody is trying to kill her.

Now kannan is there- abhi says hello- he show them the photos- shanthi says it is the person who saved sumathi- now joe is watching all these -

Sept 22 Update:
Adhi's house:- Iswar approaches Kanchana with her medicine. She says she is too upset to take any medicine. Iswar tells her to forget it and not to think abt it too much. Adhi is listening to their conversation. She says Adhi is a great person and just because he loved Usha, she agreed for this middle class girl without any money. But she had the impudence to turn down Adhi, who is like a king. She says now they should search for a queen for him and marry him to her, just to show Usha what great foolishness she has committed.

Adhi comes into the room. He says not to worry and don't think abt that worthless girl and that his love for his mother is much much greater than any love he might have had for any other woman. He says he will marry anyone his mother selects.

Arthi and friend:- Aarthi and her friend go to a shop and she buys a shirt and jeans. Her friend asks her if it is for her brother, but Aarthi says they are for her husband. Her friend is surprised. Aarthi says that she had been very stubborn and egoistic and had treated her husband very badly. But now, she has realised Rajesh lied to her in the beginning because of love for her and suffered a lot for it and no other man would have suffered this much. She says that when she realised Rajesh lied to her, she should have left him, but not. When Anjali came to seduce him, she got angry and now she realises that she loved him also. She says that she will go back and behave like a true wife. Her friend advises not to give up her studies.
Aarthi says that her sister is the one who inspired her and she will definitely continue her studies and make Abhi's dreams come true. She also calls her mother &says about passing the exam. She tells her that she could not get Abhi on phone and that she herself would tell her the good news.

Kodai kanal:- Joe is waiting in the dark. Somebody arrives and says he committed a big mistake by attacking the Priest. He says that the Father is not dead and that there is a chance he might recover. If that happens, he will tell the truth to all. Joe is angry. He says that he didn't wait this long to lose all, and that if such a thing happens he will at least steal the 50 lakhs which jenny has with her now. joe says he will call the man after stealing and will give some money for him also and escape from there.

Adhi s house- Iswar is trying to console adhi. He says what Usha did was very wrong. Iswar says that Usha is basically a very good girl ,something or someone must have made her to do it. Adhi says it is none other than Abhi. It is her planning- Iswar wonders- asks how come abhi landed in all these? Usha had left Abhi - Adhi says it is only a drama -Abhi challenged him in his house before ,that she will bring him down. But iswar supports Abhi and says she won't do such things and asks him to forget his enmity and consider her as a friend and she too will accept it. Adhi asks him why should he? Is she his sister? Iswars asks if Adhi would be more tolerant if Abhi had been his sister. Adhi says he would have shot her! He says he would have killed her long back if he had a sister like her. He leaves the room, swearing to take revenge on her and tells iswar to wait and see what he will do to her. Easwaran sits down-fully tensed.

23 Sep 2005 Episode...

it got recorded.. somewhat blurred.. but no probs..

This episode was shot entirely in Kodai.

Starts with Abhi and Manu talking about Father in the hospital. Nurse comes and informs them that Father has regained conciousness. They rush in. Abhi tells father 'father naan abhi vandiriken' but he keeps repeating Jennifer, Jennifer, Jennifer' Nurse asks Abhi to get Jennifer. Abhi goes out to call Jennifer.

At Jennifer's house she is stacking bundles of money into a suitcase. Joe comes in and tells her to be more careful. She says that she was going to give away the money to the hospital in a few minutes. The phone rings. Jennifer answers, Joe picks up the extension. Abhi tells Jennifer that Father has regained conciousness and was askign for her. Joe is horrified. He thinks about what he shoudl do now.

Jennifer puts money back and goes to call Joe. He pretends to be happy that Father is well and pretends that he has an appointment and would join him later at the hospital.

Jennifer reaches hospital and Father tells her that Joe was the one to hurt him. Abhi thinks about this and shows him the photo of Joe with Sumati and tells Father that the man in the picture was married to Sumati. Father confirms that it is Joe. Jennifer is stunned. Father says to quickly inform police.

Abhi asks Manu to go to police station. SHe and Jennifer rush to Jennifer's place in call taxi. They keep trying to call soemone but can't get thru.

Joe has managed to unlock the cupboard with Jennifer's money and jewels. He puts them into briefcases and starts out when the bell rings. Sumati is at the other side of the door. He thinks this si a good opportunity to finish her and opens the door. Sumati attacks him with a bat. He manages to throw the bat and they have a wresting match. Phone rings and Sumati manages to pick it.. Abhi is on the other side. She hears Sumati and Joe fighting.
