| Shatru's wife completes first film |

| Veteran actor Shatrugan Sinha's wife Punam has completed her first Hindi film, MERA DIL LEKE DEKKHO. The film has been shot extensively in Pune and also in London. "It has been a wonderful experience," Punam tells me, after completing the film at a lightening speed, "That's how films should be made. Delays only mess up things." True! Directed by Rohit Kaushik, MERA DIL LEKE DEKKHO stars Jackie Shroff, Koel Purie, Jaspal Bhatti and Archana Puransingh in key roles along with a host of new faces. Actor Om Puri's wife, Nandita Puri, has penned the script of the film. Incidentally, both Shatru and Punam have changed the spelling of their names. Shatru is Shatrugan [not Shatrughan] and Poonam is Punam now. |
