| 'Aloo Chaat' Premieres in Metro |
| News and Pics from Rons Bantwal Daijiworld Media Network—Mumbai (RD/CN) Mumbai, Mar 28: The premiere of 'Aloo Chaat', produced by Anuj Saxena's Maverick Production's Private Ltd in association with Mirchi Movies and Red Ice Films, directed by Robby Grewal, was held on Thursday March 26 at PVR Cinemas in Juhu. It was a resounding success. Lead pair Aftab Shivdasani and Aamna Shariff were decked in western wear—Aftab in a suit and Aamna, in a gown. The two Anujs of the entertainment industry were present—co-host Anuj Saxena and actor Anuj Sawhney. Saxena's friends from the television industry—Apoorva and Shilpa Agnihotri, Dipsshikha, Sai and Shakti Deodhar, Indraneil Sengupta, Barkha Bisht, and Jaya Mathur—were present to congratulate him as were Anjala Zaveri and Linda Arsenio, actor Sushant Singh, music director Bappi Lahiri, director producer Jag Mundhra, and Musammil Ibrahim among others. It was surprising to see Bhavna Balsaver accompanied by her husband instead of her mother Shubha Khote as the mother-daughter duo are always seen together! Bunts' Sangh women's wing member and Lioness Club member Mala Shetty along with Bunts' youth wing president Gautam Shetty and secretary Reshma Shetty were also present at the event. Dr Anuj Saxena had crowned Miss Bunt 2008 and also had been a donor of gift hampers for the event. |

What does Aamna do a Sunday?22 Mar 2009, 1114 hrs IST, Kunal GuhaAloo Chaatstar Aamna Shariff loves her own company, she loves watching films by herself on quiet Sunday afternoons
Aamna Shariff
I pamper myself... by not getting out of bed before 10 am.
Breakfast... on Sunday can include a treat like a dosa, apart from the fruits and juices which are a necessity. A breakfast buffet at Taj Lands End is another option. I end up trying everything there but only manage small bites as I am a poor eater.
Power yoga replaces the gym... as I believe I shouldn't work out on my holiday, it defeats the purpose of a Sunday.
Hours of chatting... with my childhood buddies Aseya and Taqdees makes me feel complete on Sundays.
I love watching movies... so I get DVDs and watch them with my friends and family. I recently enjoyed watching Apocalypto. I'm also hooked on to the HBO TV series called Entourage.
I love fresh flowers... and I personally decorate my house with them. My pick includes red and white carnations.
Tidying my wardrobe... is a huge task as it's always in a mess, but I attend to it on Sundays. I am a shopaholic and am very passionate about my bags and shoes. While rearranging them, I often discover things I had previously bought and forgotten about. So that's a treat.
Sunday lunch is typically Muslim... and includes biryani, khichda and mutton chops. I am not particularly fond of rice but on Sundays I relish it along with kachumbar (raita).
I love my own company... on Sunday afternoons and love watching romantic films like If Only all by myself.
love writing... so on Sundays, I pen down my thoughts, incidents that I would love to commit to memory.
Dinner is a grand affair... with all my friends and family over. My preference in food is considered important as it's the only day I am at home. I love Chinese, Indian, Lebanese and even Arabic food. If I feel like having sea food, I go to Dakshin at ITC.
I love dark chocolate cake... after dinner.
I love sleeping... and I can't stay up beyond 11 pm. So I head to bed early, after my Sunday prayers.
