" In Matrimony " Poetic Story (Full story posted)

 

I am back ... 😳.. R u my lovely readers happy or scared😆.. Whatever it be .. I cant help it but eat ur brains. The story as it is title is " In Matrimony " Its very simple no major twist and pretty straight but a straight thing sometimes seems so complex to us... especially if u think u r too mature....😉... its not romantic at all.. its just a simple loooooooooong story in poetic form which tells u a how these two people thought as they decided something on....

 

Now I have the story ready from long just didnt had time to type and get comp... as now i have .. I need a little suggestion from my readers before I start posting... this is a poetic story as u read the sujectline saying.. how u want the story.. Should I post the whole story at once(Will it be too long to read at once ?) the story is poetic but its pretty long so shoudl i post as parts? Surely will wait for some suggestions.. either in this thread or in Pm's...I am pretty unsure how readers r comforatble in reading a loooooooooooooong single part of poetic story or a short parts added each day..

My lovely set of readers .. really really appreicate the way u all encouraged me to no limits.😃.. i cant say how much touched i was with my previous story's comments... it was wonderful😳 really one of the best comments I recieved...  In Matrimony

 

Their Parents had gone through the matrimonial site,

Surfed through their portfolios called to know if the match would be right,

They both were asked to view each other's picture,

They both felt important to know each other's nature,

Pictures can lie, they very well knew,

To visualize each other it was just a clue.

 

 

Parents called up friends, relatives to know if the information given was true,

Elders doing all the talks they became curious what each one was going through,

Felt like chatting at the matrimonial site,

Fixed timings chatted two hours at midnight,

Elders felt they both are perfect for each other,

They wanted little more time to take the process further.

 

 

They had discussed their likes and dislikes,

Tried to figure if they think alike,

Slowly felt they were not strangers anymore,

Friends to call each other they weren't sure,

She had warned she was honest and blunt to others,

He had cleared he can't bear anyone to hurt his elders.

 

 

They made up a hypothetical situation as they chatted,

If a situation like this arises, how they would have reacted,

Suppose her friend called to be with her as she is feeling low,

In-laws insists without son's permission You shouldn't go,

She tries to convince them but can't make them understand how close she is to her friend,

She bluntly says the matter is between wife and husband she needs the conversation here to end,

Returning home her husband observes how hurt his parents are,

Parents try to calm him saying may be they said things much more than their part.

 

 

This hypothetical situation was discussed through & through,

Both chatted, discussed, argued & soon quarreled telling what each one should do,

That was the end as they typed with anger 'LETS LEAVE IT. CATCH U LATER'

Their heart wanted to say Stop it we cant take each other further,

They informed elders to avoid the match they r'nt compatible,

Elders were surprised and felt they are so unpredictable.

 

 

Other proposals came and things were going on,

Both pushed themselves saying lets leave the past and carry on,

Co-incidentally, one day they both met at a cinema hall,

Looked thrice to make sure it was the same person but couldn't call,

Having seen each other personally for the very first time,

They felt they looked a bit different from what the picture defined.

 

 

Walking out of the exit door,

Both were side by side on the same floor,

They had a slight smile as they looked again at each other,

Oh, those glimpses and that beautiful feeling inside to talk they didn't even bother,

They went sat in their respective cars with their friends to go back home,

Their friend's couldn't make out from where the hidden happiness had come,

A film they saw had a very sad ending,

Here they were in thoughts with smile never ending.

 

 

As they reached, they felt like sending an offline saying, 'Hi! Was it You at the cinema hall?'

God's game plan they both sent message at the same time though didn't want to chat at all,

They chatted starting with, ' How r u doing?'

Continued saying,' Nice to chat with U again.'

They discussed it was a pleasant surprise to meet each other,

Couldn't hide the fact they felt glad to personally see each other.

 

 

They took a while to go to what happened in the previous chat,

How they immediately decided they were not compatible as they signed out and sat,

Now after four months passed by, they knew they had not liked each other's personality,

They are still chatting; friendship is it that gave stability,

Both were confused on their own part,

Felt why were giving this relation another start.

 

 

They discussed the friends, with whom they were at the cinema hall,

Went on to share happy memories with friends one and all,

She told him how these two friends are close and dear,

They have given her strength in the toughest times of fear,

It was these two friends who made her smile,

These two who always assured their presence through the difficult miles,

At various phase they have been the like more than family to her,

Sometimes praying, sometimes spending enough times bringing laughter to her.

Hearing her side, he could understand why she felt her reaction has to be that way,

He still didn't knew could he handle things knowing her emotional bond with friends if the same situation stays.

 

 

She asked him about his bond with his friends,

He replied attachment is with family, happy & fine infront of friends he pretends,

He had friends who changed their priorities along with his success & failures that was pretty clear,

Friends had just looked from distance but parents had stood along and shared the pain for years,

His mother had fought a battle with cancer, herself stood strong not letting him feel shattered,

That phase reminded the sacrifice, care, love they gave him and for him their happiness only mattered,

Reading what he shared she didn't need to think more on why he felt his reaction in the situation had to be that,

She felt getting immense love from parents, not a % of that from friends would surely feel that way as a fact.

 

 

They both felt each other's reaction for the hypothetical situation was genuine & mature,

Personality wasn't different just lesson's learnt from life were different in nature,

Both ended the chat and went to sleep,

Each looking into the others life thought deep,

A series of chats later and they wanted to meet again,

A nice friend for life thats what they wanted to gain.

 

 

A look, a smile, a handshake they felt so connected,

The thought would cheer, thinking how wonderful it be to get united,

He said the situation we discussed can be the same,

Ur reaction can be the same,

My respect, love for my parents will remain the same,

Now as I can understand why u reacted that way, there will be no anger

will try to observe situation, converse things out and try not to blame.

 

 

She replied the situation we discussed could be similar,

Ur reaction can be similar,

My love, bond with friends will always be similar,

Now can understand u, so my reaction will be calmer,

Blunt & honest I am but surely will want to be also a good listener,

Both smiled feeling as a relationship develops,

Something for each other in the heart as it envelopes,

We want to be compatible and want to adjust,

Respecting ones past experience in life is always a must.

 

 

Compatibility is not to do things exactly same and think alike,

Compatibility is to understand & cope with individual's lifestyle,

Holding each others hands they smiled and looked at each other,

Making a promise "In Matrimony" let's get forever together,

They are 'In matrimony'; married and things did sometimes surely get messed up,

But the hypothetical situation they had thought over never ever came up,

Matrimony, marriage can be planned, wedding preparations can be planned out,

But its up to the couple to later in marriage want to sort things out,

U cant prepare for the future,

It's to feel together secure,

Want to stay together for more time,

Want to talk-listen feel inside 'U R MINE'!
