Muaah Kiya Gujral :* God...today was literally the first episode that I saw after the past election episode & DAMN! My Diva truly shone on screen <3
"My life can't revolve around him..."
THIS! THANK YOU SO MUCH ANAND SIR!!!! The very thing which I had been repeating since ages...Kiya finally said it by herself. She isn't a housewife...she's a college going student in the prime of her life, someone with sky high dreams in her eyes. She was born to be a star, to soar. And I'm glad that after a LONG LONG LONG wait, she FINALLY realised that & is ready to take initiative. Her scene with KD was epic! I'm such a proud Diva fan<3
And she was right, as was Piddi. I remember when KD had screamed at Kiya for revolving around him & not doing anything about her self. I had literally given him a standing ovation & almost kissed him on the screen (eliciting quite a no. of weird looks I might add🤣). Because every word of his was spot on & the very same things which I had wanted to say to Kiya. The harshness may have been found unfair by people, but personally...I think it was very necessary to propel her forward. I was 100% Team KD <3
But this time...I am with Kiya. She has a real talent, she can touch so many heights with it. And now that she's finally realised it & is taking steps to make sure she can reach her dream, her expecting KD to support her & be proud of her is nothing wrong. Yes...she CAN go to an Indian institute, but KD asking her to sacrifice what was the BEST is as she said...sfelfish. I am not conpletely faulting him for it. The girl he loves is going away from him, thoda selfishness & desperation being the initial reaction is very human, & in a way, I'm it was written this way. But I hope, that eventually, his mind will clear up, & he will see what Kiya is doing can do wonders for her & will support her, even if he initially tries to stop her.
Piddi...I love you yaar. Today, he was truly a good friend to KD, making him face reality & realise his mistake.
But more than anything, what I really hope is for Kiya to NOT back down! If she does...it'll be a huge dissapointment to me. She has finally gotten back her drive to achieve her goals, & my only fear is that it'll die out & the track will turn out to be another KiSha MU/patch up track, rather than an individually Kiya track. Pls CVs...let her not change her decision to go!
I still hope for a clean break between KiSha & a fresh start, & a similar career driven track for KD, but well...one step at a time 😊. I'm not impatient. If this track of Kiya's is handled well, I will certainly be surer of a similar one for KD. For now...welcome back Anand Sir! :)
