We cannot differentiate country, NRI or Indians all are same. every woman is same.

it is just TV show.TV show ki tarah dekhna hai..nothing much if you do not like skip that track and watch it again or move on from that show. why we have to dig and compare the past and relate to present.

Is tarah ke reactions mere point ko prove karte hain. Kai baar Twitter par jab bhi maine India ya perticular Indian state ke bare me baat karni chahi to hamesha urban class ya NRI women ka privilege bhara statement sunne ko mila (like 100% time):

1) lagta hai aap desh ke bahar nahi gayi, ye to har jagah hota hai

2) Aap India ko badnam kar rahi, hamne to aisa nahi dekha. Thoda bahut hota hai

Mai ye ikka dukka cases ki baat nahi kar rhi. Baar baar baar... Yahi response milte hain. Patronize kiya jata hai ki ya to ham jaise log "global reality" se connected nahi, facts nahi jante (jaisa hamne koi padhai nahi ki, btw I am a social work graduate from TISS, Mumbai) ya fir Europe ya Australia jana pados me jane ke barabar hai ya fir hame koi right nahi kisi specific culture/country/region ke bare me baat karne ki?

Har jagah har conversation me har kisi ko include nahi kiya ja sakta, jiska ye matlab nahi hota ki us perticular region ke alava dusri kisi jagah koi problem nahi. Cheeze context driven hoti hain.

Sochiye ki personally kuch elaborate karte hue maine kuch kaha hi nahi. Sirf ek keyword me bahut se meaning jabardasti jod liye gaye. Jabki NRI ke experiences bhi to diverse hain, koi super privileged hai, koi waha slave bana hua hai.

Lekin jab story bhi small city based dikhai ja rhi, khanai bhi usi small city ki ek woman ki hai, to jaahir hai ki small city ya village ke log agar specifically apne area ki baat karna chahenge to iska ye matlab nahi ki wo baakiyo ke bare me prejudice paal rahe.

Online forums/social media par to chodiye... Mere University ka experience bhi yahi tha. Class me keval teen log choti jagah se the (2 hamesha overwhelmed hoti thi, zoned out rahti thi), mujhe angreji me baat karna nahi aata tha/hai (thoda bahut time ke saath khud seekha hai) fir bhi mai English me ho rahi sare conversations me hissa lene ki koshish karti thi aur sari urban class women ko problem ho jati thi.

Caste/gender/mental health/sexuality par discussions me mai apna POV rakhne ki koshish karti thi to unhe lagta tha ki mai unhe personally attack kar rhi hu.. jabki aisa to WhatsApp groups me mere saath hota tha.

For example, meri classmates aise aise comments kar jate the, "aajkal cheeze bahut badal gayi hain. Ab kaha hai men and women ke bitch discrimination? Jo bhi hai bahut thoda sa hai."

Ya fir.. "Poor people are mostly free from mental illnesses."

Ya fir.. "women should think about men's mental health issues when talking about their metoo experiences!"

Usually mai unhe research papers site karke with facts counter karti thi, mudde par hi rahti thi. Tab bhi they used to feel like... Mai classroom ka mahol kharab kar rhi. Jo log chup rahte the unme se kuch kahte the... "Tum kitna padhi likhi ho, confident ho.. kash ham bhi hote"

Ya fir, "Yar ham degree lene aaye hain, kuch aur karne nahi to bolna kyo hai?"

Jabki ye dono hi baate galat hoti thi.

So thik hai.. ki sab log entertainment ki baate karte hain. Maine kab kisi ko bully kiya? Kab kaha ki we romance enjoy na kare? Ya kab claim kiya mere kuch perticular comment karne se kuch bada ho jayega?

Par jaise 1000 log apni baat likh rahe.. I also do the same. I know it means nothing. Trust me. Kya mai etni stupid hu ki Indiaforum me hi aisa sab likhkar aisa kuch expect karungi? Ham sab apna real name tak use nahi karte.

Anyway. The point is... Child abuse/rape/DV mere liye kuch aise points hain jinhe entertainment ke naam par bhi Hari jhandi nahi milni chahiye. It's called basic decency.

Baki mai khud Fat woman hu. Pahle to fat jokes sunkar bahut upset hoti thi, par ab bahut neutral hu.

Insta par urban class women ki tarah fatshaming ke against na movement chalane ki fursat hai aur na hi ye meri life ki sabse pressing and urgent problem hai. Jaahir hai iska ye matlab nahi ki I find fat-shaming cool ya jo iske against bolte hain mai unhe disapprove kar rhi. lekin jo obvious class difference hai, use bhi point karna bhi jaruri hai.

Thik jaise India/NRI ki different categories hai

India ke bheetar different states ki

Different caste ki

Different.... Etc

Please understand the nuances. I have no ill-intention against anyone. Aur mai aisa katai nahi sochti ki dusre ki problems invalid hain.

Bas ab yahi kehna tha. age se I’m not interested in bringing any reform on the forum. I’ve decided to ignore and only comment on posts I’m interested in.

i guess they have grudge on actors that's why they come and repeat on same thing again again and again. Or they cannot see show is doing great. Leave them and move on.
