You are most welcome! The aim was never to tamper on someone's freedom of expression. It was just to raise the fact that you need to be mindful about what the words you use. Online or in real life. Words are SO powerful and they need to be used wisely. Physical wounds can heal, but psychological wounds are always going to be there, haunting people like an echo.

The sexual harassment for example. It was an event that happened so long ago and I am no longer that deeply affected by it as I initially was. However, it still does pop up once in a while. It is something that has happened and whether I like it or not, it is a part of my life. What's most important is that I am not letting this one bad event to dictate how my life should be run. I am not centering or shaping my life around it.

The key thing is to talk. Don't feel like you are a burden, just talk and let it out. Whether you wish to approach someone you know personally or you wish to do it anonymously. It does not matter. Just talk.

Haha I'm all smiley whenever you're around, no worries! :D That was actually the first time we interacted and the way you explained things WITHOUT making it seem like you were crushing anyone's freedom of expression is what made me go all woaaa. Well said and ah so proud of you/in awe because you're setting a great example! 🤗

Infact even if i get 70% on any of my subjects...
God knows how many things i have to go thru...
My dad's anger is not less than a lion's!

Anisha - hun you are never alone. Its good that you shared infact I will share something about myself to that way I hope I will be able to reach out to people.

I will only tell you this- Whatever it is be it your studies, relationships anything always give your 100% - test results, academics are never a form of telling how a person is capable. Yes studies are very important and they help us shape our personality but they will be a form of showing how you are as an individual.

give your best - rest leave it. Because in your heart you know you tried your level best. Nothing ever is useless.

Hey Anisha!

Nothing you guys say is useless to me. So please don't think like that.

As for the pressure in studies, I understand what you're going through. Parents need to ease up on the kids. We're not going to learn any faster through a negative and hostile environment. If you can, talk to them about the pressures you are facing. Talk to them about what you're not understanding and how you can get some extra help.

Right now, I just want to give you a big hug and tell you to hang in there! 🤗

Know that you're not the only one who is having difficulties when it comes to education. We can't process everything at once. We all have different learning abilities and capabilities. You just need to find one that works for you and find something that you really connect with. Do that, and you'll be the brightest in your field. :)

You know, we might have a telepathic connection because even I was thinking of you a few days ago. 😳😆

Thank you so much Sammy! Honestly, if I didn't have everyone's support then I don't know where or how I would be right now. So the major credit of my well being does go to you all. So thank you to everyone, once again. 🤗

Good! Because I'm working with half a brain today and I don't know how I'm managing to make sense. 😆

Was it? :o

I thought we first talked at Sid's Bday thread. 🤔

Thank you so much for that Teddyyy. 😳 I didn't even know that's how things were being perceived. At the time, with every reply I made, I was fueled with so much emotion. Anger, hurt, worthlessness but I also didn't want to bring anyone down. It wasn't right for me to lash out and hurt someone else just because I was hurting.

You have to be really careful about what is said, especially online. You just never know who might take offense by which comment. We only find out someone gets hurt when they actually voice it out. But what about those silent readers? Those people who carry the hurtful comment with them into their real life? That's not right on our part and what's being done to them isn't right either.

The reason for me to post this topic was because I have been there myself as an individual - I am still battling it. Nobody knows me here who I am or what I do and somewhere I never thought I would put myself out there. But then after reading what happened with Pratyusha, I wanted to share this because your life is very precious. When we feel all the doors are closed, look again its open. I cant tell you how important it is to reach out.

I am a single mother to a beautiful 1 year old daughter - and god knows what I have seen- from domestic violence to mental torture to Depression. My journey as an individual is not easy and sad part was I couldnt reach out to people. But then when I look at my daughter - she gives me the strength to battle it out and I am still doing it.yes even though I live in Canada, people still look down upon me for taking some decisions. I have not once but alot of times thought what was the point in living - but then just few months back. I came across something which made me think again.

I am not alone - I have to think of everyone who is associated with my life. I am letting worldly problems blind my decision. We are all here for a reason, and the reason is right in front of me.

I know every day is a battle for me- but this is my test and i have to pull through this.

i honestly come here and see your post. it makes me smile -sometimes i forgot and act like a teenager. thats why I thank you all .

My point is dont let others dictate your life. Reach out to people before its to late.

I dont know if this made sense - but here's my bit

Sammy! 🤗

I know how much strength and courage it takes to share something so personal, to simply put yourself out there in front of strangers. So thank you for this.

Although I may not have gone through what you have, I have an aunt who has suffered through the same atrocities as you have. It was a truly trying time in her life but she made it through because she had one thing to keep her going - her child. Sometimes, that's all we really need. Just one thing. Just one thread to hold onto, to keep us going. And to be honest, that one thing is more than enough.

You will get help if you ask for it. Although we may not know what to do, we are there for you mentally, spiritually and emotionally. If you need to cry, then cry. Need to be angry and vent, then do that. But just don't bottle everything up and think of all that has gone wrong. Rather, think of what can go right. Think of how things can become better from this. Put the darkness and the bad days behind you. Move forward into the glorious sunset and build a a beautiful and secure future for your daughter.

She's going to be your anchor in the days to come. :)

You're most welcome Anisha! 🤗

If your parents don't understand, then at least your brother does. Have at least one person in your life to whom you can go and talk about your stresses. If not family, then go to one of your friends. Being your age and going through similar stresses, they should be able to understand better what you're going through.

Cry once in a while but don't become a water fountain. That will do you more harm than good.

Gurleen 🤗. Thank you on many counts.

You made me share something which i would never have. and i will always be glad that i came across such a beautiful person. i am not really good with words but all I can say is big thank you

I completely agree-my daughter is my strength - the reason to share this so that people know that we are not alone. Its about time to pick up the pieces and move forward.

we all fight our individual battles everyday but its great to know that you have people like u and others who are out here, where we can reach out - and wont be judged.

And my last thank you for your beautiful words of encouragement and strength

Lots of luv :) keep smiling
