Part 7
"Kunj ji, this is my elder sister, Twinkle. Twinkle di, this is Mr. Kunj Sarna, Yuvraj's elder brother," Mahi says, ushering him in.
Twinkle tries prying her gaze away from his, but it's as if he's holding onto her with every fibre in his body.
"Nice to meet you Ms. Twinkle," Kunj says.
Twinkle's face immediately breaks out into a smile as she hears him acknowledge her.
"Nice to meet you as well Mr. Kunj, but you can call me Twinkle,"
Kunj couldn't help but smile at hearing the happiness in her voice. "Alright Twinkle, but then you can call me Kunj,"
Mahi and Yuvraj both glance at each other and knew that something's going on between their older siblings.
"So um Kunj ji, would you like a tour of the house?" Mahi offers.
"Hmm, sure," Kunj smiles at her.
"Di, why don't you take him? I need to talk to Yuvraj about something from college," Mahi smiles sweetly at her.
Twinkle gives Mahi a look that could stop her heart, as she turns and heads up the stairs. "Aaiye,"
"Your little sister's not very subtle is she?" Kunj says softly as he walks behind her.
Twinkle turns around and smiles at him. "You're actually being nice to me when no one's around?"
"Didn't you read my last email?" Kunj asks.
"Yes, I did actually read about our new relationship," Twinkle grins, using his words.
"And?" Kunj asks, as she leads him towards the balcony.
"And"I'm glad you've reconsidered," Twinkle smiles.
"So Twinkle, I'm guessing you're happy with this engagement right?" Kunj muses. "Since you seemed so happy before the ceremony,"
"Kunj"there was another reason for me being happy," Twinkle starts. "I"thought""
"Di!! Come down now!" Mahi calls out up the stairs.
Twinkle turns to see where Mahi's voice came from. "We should go," Twinkle walks towards the stairs until Kunj pulls her back. "Which one's your room?"
Twinkle turns around and points to a room on the far right, "That one, it's connected to the balcony too,"
"That's interesting to know..." Kunj smiles as he walks down the stairs.
"So how'd you like the house?" Mahi asks as she leads them into the dining room.
"From what I've seen, it's very nice. Beautifully decorated too," Kunj adds.
"That was all di's department!" Mahi laughs. "She found all the paintings, and decided to mix and match it all around,"
Kunj grins at her. "It's a really nice house,"
"Thank-you," Twinkle grins.
"So KS, what do you say about Twinkle di decorating our new hotel?" Yuvraj suggests.
Twinkle and Kunj both look quickly at each other and then back at Yuvraj.
"That's a great idea," Kunj says slowly.
Twinkle smiled to herself as she noticed Kunj's hesitation before answering. "He doesn't need me any closer than he has to have me," Twinkle clears her throat, "No its okay Yuvraj, I'm sure Kunj already has a high-fi designer lined up,"
"Actually" Kunj smiles at her. "I don't. And so if you would like the job, I'd be more than happy to have you on the team,"
Twinkle's eyes go wide as she hears him say yes. "Wow"I don't know what to say,"
"Say yes di!" Mahi grins.
Twinkle looks at Mahi and puts her hand on her cheek. "Okay,"
"Yes!" Yuvraj squeals out in joy "That's awesome,"

"So who's up for some coffee?" Twinkle asks as she stands up from her position on the lounger.
"I'll have some," Yuvraj smiles.
"Me too di, but with my special coffee," Mahi grins.
"I know, I know!" Twinkle laughs. "And for you?" She glances at Kunj.
"I'll come and help you," He smiles and gets up.
Twinkle smiles as she leads the way into the kitchen. "The mugs are all in that cupboard." She points to a cupboard on the opposite side.
Kunj nods as he reaches up and grabs four of them, and then he sees Twinkle struggling with the jar of coffee, so he reaches over and holds her hand and brings it down. Twinkle jumps away from his touch.
"So sorry," Kunj mutters.
"Don't be," Twinkle smiles slowly. "I over-reacted,"
"Do you tend to do that a lot?" Kunj asks.
"Not as badly as you did in London," Twinkle retorts.
"Ahh.. yes for that, I'm really sorry," Kunj says quickly.
"Good, it really hurt you know, all of a sudden you blowing me off," Twinkle says,
"What was I supposed to do? You were there, and you were getting engaged to my cousin!" Kunj says loudly.
"Ssh!" Twinkle shushes him. "Mahi has no idea about the engagement yet!"
"Oh you haven't told her?" Kunj asks.
Twinkle shakes her head. "I'm afraid to,"
"Do you want to say it while Yuvraj and I are here?" Kunj asks. "I'm sure Yuvraj will be excited to know he's getting a new bhabhi," He gently puts his hand on her shoulder.
"I couldn't put you guys in that position, Mahi's going to be furious with me," Twinkle admits.
"Furious with you about what?" Mahi asks with her hands on her hips in the doorway with Yuvraj standing protectively behind her.
That's it for this one, I know most people might not be too happy with the way Twinj's's relationship is going, but I promise soon...the sparks will fly! Kunj's still being crazy about her being Manmeet's fiance, I'll try to continue soon 😳
